About: Came from a family of multiple large + small breed dogs (pitties, boxers, chihuahuas, I can handle just about anything!) Mother to 3 cats now. I worked at a dog boarding facility in Austin for 2 years. I love creatures of all kinds. I consider my approach to be gentle and intuitive, I'm good at reading animals body language. Experienced with working in high tension situations as well and acting on my toes accordingly for the safety of all! I work an 8-5 full time schedule Monday-Friday. After work + weekend visits are preferred, but can also drop by before work if needed. I treat your home with the respect and care I would my own. I'll keep it a safe and clean environment for your fur baby.

“Samantha took great care of my cats while I was out of town. She is dependable and great with communication. She definitely kept me at ease during my first trip away from my kitten.”

“Recommend Lydie to whoever needs a sitter for their pup. She had great communication with me. Multiple pictures with each visit. I could tell my puppers just loved his visits with her by the pictures she sent. 5 out of 5 recommended!”

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life, caring for dogs, cats, and horses and developing a genuine love for animals of all ages and personalities. I work from home, which gives me the flexibility to provide dependable drop-in care and give your pets the attention they deserve. I’ve cared for dogs ranging from playful puppies to senior pets with more specific needs, including caring for my own senior dog through chemotherapy and the loss of a leg. That experience taught me the importance of patience, compassion, attention to detail, and following care instructions closely. You can feel confident knowing I’ll treat your pets and your home with the same care and respect I would my own. Because I work from home, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to easily fit drop-in visits into my day. I’m able to stop by for potty breaks, meals, fresh water, playtime, medication, or simply some companionship while you’re away. I’ll work with your schedule and your pet’s routine to make sure they receive consistent, attentive care in the comfort of their own home. I believe pets are happiest and most comfortable in their own familiar surroundings. During each visit, I’ll follow your pet’s normal routine and care instructions while providing plenty of attention, affection, playtime, and companionship. I’ll also treat your home with the same respect and care I would my own.
About: My name is Hunter J. I had four cats and a dog. My cats names are Starmoon, Cluck, tiger, and mama. The dog is named Sam. Sam is a Rottweiler And all the cats our rescues from a farm. I’m a freelance photographer. I take nature shoots, portraits and also pets. I’m very athletic and can play pretty much any sport. I went to Australia for a month and have been the the US Virgin Islands. I learned some new language and a lot about culture from travel and I plan on continuing. The greatest medicine is some sunshine and laughter. I shall take care of ur pets like I treat mine with lots of love and care. I believe if your pets not happy, neither are you. I work i full time job at millhouse auto body from 8am-5pm. I will be able to stop in before work for potty break or walk. Than I get an hour break so whatever time you need me to take them out, just let me know and I can leave. And then I can stop by after work as well. I moved to an apartment that offers fenced in community as well as dog park stations. And currently have no other animals living with us.

“Deann was awesome! She always communicated when she was at our home, took photos so I could see my girls, and was still concerned about them when it got too hot or too many hours before her next visit. I really appreciate the help she provided while I was celebrating my brother and sister-in-law.”

About: I know it is difficult to leave your pet while traveling. I want to help alleviate any worries by caring for your fur babies just as you would. I currently work full-time. Young puppies or doggies not crate-trained would be best with another sitter. My weekends are always free, so that would be the best time to book puppies or dogs not crate-trained. I have a large fenced-in yard for playtime outside and a safe neighborhood for walks. Currently my home is pet free and I don’t pet sit for more than one family at a time.
About: At 35, I’ve spent my entire life caring for animals. Growing up on a farm, I was surrounded by everything from horses, goats, chickens, rabbits, cats, and birds to snakes. I genuinely love animals of all kinds and enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality and needs. I’m comfortable administering medications, providing enrichment, and keeping pets active with walks and outdoor time. I’m dependable, respectful, hardworking, and committed to giving every animal the same patience, care, and attention I would want for my own. I recently moved to Corpus Christi to continue my bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science. My schedule is flexible and open outside of classes, we can discuss availability based upon your needs. As a pet owner, I understand how important it is to feel comfortable welcoming someone into your home and trusting them with your pets. I believe in being respectful, responsible, and mindful of your home and your pet’s routine. My goal is to provide dependable care while giving you peace of mind knowing your pets and home are in good hands.
“Jasmine was so awesome! My cats loved her and she was reliable and easy to communicate with. It’s obvious she loves animals and showed great care and attention to my three cats. I’d happily use her again!!”

“I'm SO very glad that I found Yuli when I started looking for a dog sitter to do multiple drop ins when I am out of town. My 4 derelicts do better in their own environment when I am away, as they are all rescues and have varying levels of PTSD/neurosis/and anxiety when I vanish for a few days. She can do short term or long term stretches and is often available on zero notice. Cannot say enough wonderful things about the multiple times she has looked after my pack. I know that she is real and a legitimate "dog person" as I see how they respond and react to her....and they ADORE her. It allows my heart and anxiety to rest knowing that she is looking after them. I trust her endlessly and know that you can too.”

“Kristina has watched our babies twice so far. She is definitely trustworthy and caring with them. She is on time and sends us cute pictures which helps ease our minds knowing they're safe. Our English Bulldog is a bit shy and skittish, and she definitely warmed up to her right very quickly! I highly recommend Kristina”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
