“I'm SO very glad that I found Yuli when I started looking for a dog sitter to do multiple drop ins when I am out of town. My 4 derelicts do better in their own environment when I am away, as they are all rescues and have varying levels of PTSD/neurosis/and anxiety when I vanish for a few days. She can do short term or long term stretches and is often available on zero notice. Cannot say enough wonderful things about the multiple times she has looked after my pack. I know that she is real and a legitimate "dog person" as I see how they respond and react to her....and they ADORE her. It allows my heart and anxiety to rest knowing that she is looking after them. I trust her endlessly and know that you can too.”

“Samia has made drop in visits for me on several occasions and I can’t say enough good things about her. She met with me before the first time and got to know my dog and me. She is patient with my senior dog who has special needs and has gone above and beyond on every visit.”
“Jennifer took care of my fur baby like it was her own. Lluvia was hesitant at first but I know she is in great hands with Jennifer. I have peace of mind knowing my spoiled baby looks forward to her visits.”

“Kyra was so helpful and friendly. She did a great job with our dogs and communicated effectively with us when she would drop in and feed them. We would definitely hire her again.”
About: I grew up with plenty of animals and got accustomed to meeting new fur babies in my school’s Vet Assisting program. I started to pet sit for families near me and friends over time. I am very patient and nothing could gross me out! :) I will have no other obligations for a month so I am trying to make ends meet while I travel! Trying something new. I am very flexible. I will put in my all and care for the pets exactly how the owner asks. I also make sure to give the furry children a ton of pets to feel loved and make up for time spent away from the owner :) I will feed and walk or jog with the dog as much as needed. However I will only be able to go to the owners place and have no pets at mine.
“This has been my 2nd time using Jackie and she's by far the absolute BEST and I absolutely ADORE her! I have 3 dogs. A senior, a 9 yr old and 1 yr old who is rambunctious as all get out and she is so gracious with them all. Definitely plan on using her again and again.... AND AGAIN 🤣”

Let me help give you peace of mind while you’re on vacation! 6 years of pet and house sitting experience with references. I also have experience of dog care from a doggy daycare/boarding/grooming facility. I have built many long and trusting relationships with the clients and animals while working there. I am currently a stay at home mom so I will have plenty of time to spend with your fur babies! I also love taking photos so I can send as many photos as desired! I love getting to meet and build a relationship with you and your four-legged friend! I live in a large gated apartment complex on the first floor. My complex has a 5 acre walking trail with 2 fenced in dog parks. I also know a couple of walking trails I would love to take your furry friend on a walk with if allowed!
About: I’m great on short notice and I’m great at communicating with pet parents regarding any special instructions your pet may need while you’re away to ensure your best peace of mind and the happiness of your pet. I work during the week and my hours are very flexible o get off at 2 on Fridays and my weekends are more than always free so my sitting days would be Friday, Saturday , & Sunday I make sure your pet is fed/water bowl full with any special diet they may have, given medications and supplements if required, played with and given attention, and ensure they are safe and taken care of the way they would be if you were there. I take instructions very well and don’t mind a detailed list of needs for your pets

“Deann was my first sitter from Rover and she exceeded my expectations. She cared for my dog as if it was her own. I'm forever grateful and will continue to use Deann as my sitter.”

“Samantha took great care of my cats while I was out of town. She is dependable and great with communication. She definitely kept me at ease during my first trip away from my kitten.”

About: I like to give the dogs I care for all the attention they want and need. I am very active myself and can be relied on to run your dog in a safe manner. I have taught my friends and families dogs how to behave on a leash. I genuinely love being with dogs and just hanging out. I'm currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time to play with your pups! My daily routine usually includes weightlifting, jujitsu, or swimming at a lap pool. I am an early bird & am willing to walk/run most dogs. I am very attentive to client's pets and behaviors. I think it's important to maintain routine for the pets and am happy to abide by your expectations of their care.

About: Growing up, my household always had pets. I had a wide range of dog breeds from a Rottweiler to a Yorkie. In addition to my love and experience with dogs, I would take care of a multiple cat household through the years. I have a huge soft spot for animals and would love to help take care of yours. I am currently a full-time student so pet care fits in well with my schedule. I am able to commit to these pets in between my class schedule. I care for pets by first fulfilling any and all requests and instructions left by a pet owner. No one knows a pet better than their owner! Second, I learn to read a pet and what signals I can pick up through their habits and actions.
About: hi im cici! i’m pretty well trained with taking care of any kind of dog! i’ve taken care of the tiniest chihuahua to a cane corso and everything in between. i absolutely love dogs and have 3 dogs of my own, one i’ve owned since 2015, 2019, & recently this february:). and if you’re looking for a cat sitter i’m quite qualified in that area too, having taken in 4 cats in the past and always making sure the neighborhood cats are fed! your little angel will absolutely get all the attention they deserve:). i am absolutely available any day of the week, whether you have work to attend last minute or if you want to have a fun weekend out, i’m here to take over for you! however overnight stay i am willing to work towards as we build a bond together :) bonding and responsibility are my two priorities. with me as your sitter, my qualifications are instructions. you give me a set of rules, timing, procedures and i will absolutely make sure that need is met. along with that i will make sure your fur baby is given playful attention and affection. having pets of my own i can completely understand suspicion of care for them, but with me i will be there to help reassure i’m the pet sitter for you!
About: I have two dogs of my own and I dog sit for friends and family. We have a small home but give plenty of out door fun all day long for those energetic puppies Weekends are mainly open for us. We would rather stay home with our pups then going out. If we do go anywhere our dogs are kennel trained. We will soon have a fenced yard but for now we use leashes for outdoor walks, runs and lots of play time to get that energy out of the puppies. Our dogs have their own futon and lots of toys to keep them busy indoors as well.
About: Reliable pet sitter with 4 years of professional experience caring for dogs and cats, including blind and deaf pets. Skilled with special-needs care and diabetic cats. I currently work part time and go to school part time, I have plenty of free time in between to play with your furry friends! Typically I pet sit at the owners home so the animals feel more comfortable and stay in their usual routine. I have a cat of my own who doesn’t socialize well with other animals, so at this time I am not taking on boarding.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
