About: Dog rescue, training and behavioral evaluation, breeding and showing, in-home and at my home pet sitting, I am a member of the Great Dane Club of America in good standing, all my breedings are AKC registered and health tested. I specialize in giant breeds but work with all breeds, ages, and sizes. Previous memberships/training: APDT, Tuft's Behavioral Assessment Training, AKC, GDCA, private seminars and training classes for animal behavior and training, canine/feline CPR and First Aid, natural and holistic veterinary medicine, biologically appropriate diet nutrition. Even while recovering from spinal surgery, I still welcomed overnight visitors! I have experience with a variety of animals including chickens, horses, birds, rabbits, gerbils/hamsters, fish, etc. All bookings are first come, first serve. Each client need is different: I have crates and gates in my home if needed, dog beds galore, a toy chest, 6 foot fenced yard, wooded trails/nature preserve across the street, 2 chicken coops and a netted chicken area. Purified water is always available. Homemade dog treats are made fresh (client permitting) and dog bed linens are sanitized for each sit. When sitting in my home I will rarely be gone longer than 2 hours, if at all. First aid and medical equipment is on site. In a client's home I will be there as required by the client and am very detail oriented. Every pet is cared for as if it is my own.

I’ve also had to wash a few dogs down with Tecnu after getting sprayed by skunks (!) and tended to lots of belly aches, bug bites and other mild issues that can befall any kind of pup. I genuinely love spending time with dogs of all kinds and think they are the greatest blessing on earth. I would love to offer care, attention, love, exercise and snuggles for your dog when you need extra help :) I am a freelancer so I work completely on my own schedule. I can make time for walks, check-ins, feedings and more anytime throughout the day and into early evening (preferably before 9pm). I come to your home to care for your pet. I understand that different pets will have different needs so we can talk beforehand and agree on what is best for your pet! I am open to making multiple visits per day for feeding and attention, staying at the house for a certain amount of hours as needed, walking your pet (willing and able to do both long, strenuous walks/hikes or short jaunts around the neighborhood), playing games with them, training exercises and even taking them to a local dog park to run if they enjoy that. Overnight / Live-In Stays: This typically includes staying at the home from roughly evening through morning (often around 6:00 PM to 10:00 AM. I love dogs. While your fur baby is in my care I will treat them as family! I am available every day to care for your pet! I can do drop ins, feed your pet and walk him.
