We also have three cats including a frail 15 yo; and 9 hens. We live in an old farmhouse that is in various stages of renovation - for sure, not the easiest for house sitting. Thankfully Claire was undaunted by the challenge. During our time away, she was terrific providing updates and was super quick with replies when I had the additional need to check in- super reassuring, especially give that this was our first time with Rover, and having a combined housesitter/animal sitter at this house. We returned home to a very content crew - the truest sign of being well cared for in our absence, and the house in perfect order- seemingly better than we left it. About: I grew up with dogs all around me. My household, my families' households, I was never around any less than three pets at a time! I've taken care of dogs, cats, horses, birds, lizards, fish, rats, and pretty much any other pet you can think of over the years. I like to humbly boast my knowledge of care and training working with disability dogs. From wheelchair assistance to emotional support, I’ve worked with all manner of dogs from all ages! I work part-time at Lime Rock Park, and will be available during most weekdays because of this! Outside of major events I can also sit during weekends given prior notice. Unfortunately I am not currently available to sit at my own home, however I am more than happy to provide extended time for nightly stays given this! Please feel free to ask. Safety is always my #1 priority. Fun and enrichment is my #1.5! Your pet will be well treated to plenty of play time, restful naps, and as many treats as you will allow them to have!

About: I’ve had dogs all my life and have cared for family and friends pets numerous times. Have experience with training puppies, administering medication, bathing and walking dogs. I am currently working part time during the week but am available on weekdays before 10am and after 3pm. I am also fully available on weekends, leaving plenty of time for enriching play and cuddle time for your furry friends! I bring the pets I care for outside for long walks despite the weather and play with them for as long as they like so they can use all their pent up energy. Every pet I care for receives lots of pets and belly rubs to keep them happy and entertained.

I’m most available Tuesday through Friday between 11:30 AM and 4:30 PM, which works great for midday walks or drop ins. That said, I’m always happy to discuss and make arrangements that work best for you and your pet! Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, their safety and comfort always come first. I’ve been pet sitting for over 15 years and animals have always been a huge part of my life. I’m one of those people who naturally gravitates toward dogs wherever I go. I also have six dogs of my own (including large breeds), so managing different personalities, routines, and energy levels is something I’m very comfortable with. These days I focus on in-home pet sitting, because most pets are happiest staying in their own space and keeping their normal routine. I know how hard it can be to leave your animals when you travel, so my goal is always to make it feel like they’re just hanging out with a friend who loves dogs as much as you do. About: I have had dogs my whole life but 2 of my dogs gave birth to 11 puppies in October of 2022 and I helped take care of them all until they were ready to go to their new homes. I kept one of the puppies and have taken care of her since she was a newborn so I am very familiar around all types of dogs. About: Ever since I was young, I have had a strong love for animals, especially dogs. I grew up surrounded by dogs and currently have two of my own.
