About: I’ve always had pets as my best friends! I grew up with my two dogs, a golden retriever and an Australian shepherd, have had three cats, one who had a litter and I helped watch over her and her kittens, and I have raised chicks many times with my family. I’ve had many pet sitting gigs for family friends and know great trail systems that are good for walking and safe from roads. I love animals and would love to help take care of yours!! I am currently a senior in high school and so I am in class from 7:50-2:20 every week day until June 12th but am available any other time of day! I enjoy taking pets for regular walks throughout the day on safe trail systems, some where they can run off leash without worry of cars or many other people or animals, and am used to keeping them on a timely schedule with meals because I do that for my dogs. I love to play games like fetch or tug-a-war with them to help get all their fun energy out and cuddle them after when they’re tired!

About: My mother has always been the friend that would take care of everyone's dog or cat ever since I was little. So, I have been surrounded by animals my whole life and learned how to take care of many different breeds, ages and personalities. Once I got my license, my friend's and family friend's entrusted me with taking care of their dogs at their home and had many experiences of house sitting with them. Before joining Rover, I was an employee through the Fetch! dog walking and pet care agency over the summer of 2025. I had my own clientele for which I would walk their dogs' multiple times a week. I also provided extended stays for house sitting in which I frequently took care of multiple dogs at once. I have owned cats my whole life, but dogs have always been a constant in my life as well through these dog sitting experiences and briefly fostering a chihuahua who eventually went to a family friend. I would be so delighted to take care of your dog or cat! Whether that be for walks, check-ins or house sitting, I have a flexible schedule and would love to spend my time with your pets. Their happiness and safety will always come first! I am currently a student at WSU, but I have a flexible schedule to take care of your furbabies. Please reach out to me if you have any questions. I promise to always keep a close eye on your animals and monitor them on their behavior, and eating or drinking patterns to make sure nothing is out of the normal for your furbaby. I will always set a side a, if not multiple, chunks of time to ensure they are enriched with playtime. Please also let me know your pet's quirks, triggers, and/or medications that they might have or need, so I can be well equipped while they are in my care.

“We were very fortunate to have Chene take care of our visiting “granddoggy” while we went away for a few days. Remy can be an anxious little dog, and Chene was very kind and conscientious about helping him feel loved and secure. She came over to meet him and learn all about him before we left so we all felt confident leaving Remy in her care. She also sent a photo or two each day which we really appreciated! Our house was clean and well taken care of as well. Thank you, Chene!”

About: I’ve started at an early age training blue heelers. I retired my service dog two years ago. She is personally trained of off leash hiking. I have two cats. One loves hiking and biking with me. The other enjoys home activities and cuddles. No matter what your fur babies enjoy I can adapt. They enjoy walks and hikes, or they enjoy a good nap with some good home play I don’t mind. I will send the cutest pics and videos if you enjoy updates. I work Monday through Friday. Six am to two pm. I can take off lunch for potty and play time. Before work we can walk/eat/potty same with after. What ever the diet, exercise, or routine is I will continue them as requested. I understand how important diet, medication and routine is for our fur babies.

“This is the second time Veronica took care of my house and pets. This first time was only for a few days. This time it was for 2 weeks. My pets were well cared for and I got pictures of them regularly. Even my super timid cat who doesn’t do well with new people warmed up to Veronica and would sit with her. Seeing that made me feel that I’d made the best choice possible for a house/pet sitter. Veronica did everything I had asked her to do, including accommodating a contractor who did some repairs while I was gone. When I got home, the house was cleaner than when I left! This was an excellent experience.”
