Whether your pup needs a quiet place to nap or a companion for light play and check-ins, I’m here to help. 🚶‍♀️🐕 Dog Walking & Drop-Ins In addition to cat boarding, I offer drop-in visits and dog walking. Whether you’re working late or heading out of town, I can stop by to provide food, water, potty breaks, litter refreshes, and some comforting attention while you’re away. 🐾 Dog Boarding While I am primarily cat-focused, I do consider small-large dogs for boarding. I’ve found this size is easiest to accommodate alongside my own pups, and it allows me to maintain a peaceful space. ‼️Note: Since I only host a few dogs at a time, feel free to message me about availability. 📝 Health & Wellness Note Please let me know in advance if your pet has any medical conditions, sensitivities, or behavioral needs. About: I have tons of experience with various types of animals from livestock to cats and dogs. I love all animals and have knowledge of various species. About: I have been caring for dogs since 2016. I have experience with high maintenance dogs that require special medications and help going potty outside. I have time to play, snuggle, and take dogs for hikes. I have experience potty training animals and have been successful potty training several seniors. I prefer small to medium sized dogs, but I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes. They must be okay with small dogs, as I have two Chihuahuas of my own. I allow my dogs on the bed, but if you prefer your dog not be on the bed, that can be arranged. I currently don't work and therefore can spend most of my time with the animals, aside from my regular chores, like cleaning house and shopping. My home doesn't have a fence so your dog will be on a leash when outside at all times, including when we hike. Length of hikes will be based on your dog's endurance level. I always carry plenty of water. I am very attentive to animal language and watch for behaviors like heavy breathing, excessive panting, lip licking, excessive yawning, or other obvious signs of distress such as limping or lethargy. I watch for these behaviors during all activities, even if we are simply relaxing. When we set up an appointment, I will want to know what to do during an emergency, beyond calling you. I will want their vaccine status, as I will only accept vaccinated dogs unless they are too young. I will also want to know how often they hike and for what distance. If they are crate trained, I will need their crate. We can work out the details, depending on your dog's needs. I am very flexible and I want to do what is right for you and your dog.

My late sweet Pepper dog and I were Project Caine certified as a Therpy team, volunteers at island hospital, and Master Agility Champions. We look forward to meeting with other awesome dogs and their owners. I work in the travel industry, so my schedule varies. I usually know a couple weeks in advance. My spouse’s schedule varies too. I am home most of the day usually aside from the occasional grocery run/ errand and can switch things around for your pets needs! In my home, I have a large back yard (non fenced), dogs are allowed on furniture if that makes them more comfortable, since I am home all day, food and water can be readily available at anytime as well. If I am watching them in your home, it’s whatever your needs may be is what I can do! I am happy to take them on walks, play fetch outside or just chill inside with them!

I also volunteer with WAIF on Whidbey Island! At the moment, I am home full time with My 2 small dogs, senior cat, and 2 adult turtles, so I have plenty of time to come walk your pet, drop in and play, or depending on their temperament keep them here with us! I own a small home with a fenced in yard, and will never leave your animal unsupervised while in my care. Should I need to leave the home for any reason during their stay, I will ensure everyone is crated and comfortable. If in your home, I will ensure everything is clean and tidy and send daily updates about the property. I will also send daily updates about they care they receive in my care, even if that's just dropping in for a walk!
