About: I have extensive experience taking care of cats, dogs, and chickens, but am open and excited to take care of all pets. I am new to Rover, but have completed over 40 sits through TrustedHousesitters watching many dogs, cats, and kittens, ranging from weekend sits to entire months and have been pet sitting full time for 1 and a half years. She fed him promptly and kept his water dish full and litter box clean. After Rufus had to have an emergency surgery, she aided me in watching after him while I was at work. I had been worried about him moving around too much and ripping his stitches out when I wasn't there to stop him. But my fears were calmed with her watching after him diligently and updating me when necessary or asking clarifying questions. Caitlin was fantastic with my little dog, Badger. I had never done an overnight boarding with a sitter before and Caitlin was super helpful in making sure Badger felt comfortable in her living space and with the other dogs. Allen is the best! He has cared for our now 6 month old puppy several times. He treats Brighton as his own. He is great with dogs, overall, but especially socializing dogs. He’s one of our very few go-to Rovers with whom we trust our dog. He also takes the time to send photo and video updates throughout the day which we really appreciate.
We had a wonderful experience with Yvanna. Our dog Rey is very anxious, especially around new people, but he felt so comfortable and at ease with her. She was patient, understanding, and made sure he felt safe throughout his stay. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. We had an emergent matter to attend to from 1-2:30pm, and being from out of town we didnt have a place to leave our pups. I reached out to Rabecca around 10am and almost immediately got an enthusiastic response back from her. Her home is very centrally located and was only 12 minutes from our appointment, so pick up and drop off were a breeze. Her home was all set up for daycare and she has comfy and cozy spaces for dogs to lounge and look out the windows. She took both our dogs out to relieve themselves and kept them safe and happy. Next time we are in Portland and need someone to watch our baby doggies we will absolutely reach back out to Rabecca!
