About: I have been blessed with 4 great labs over the last 40 years and recently lost my last one. (Porter) Want to care for dogs without ownership right now. I am recently retired. My wife works part time from home. We have plenty of time to care and play with dogs. We also have a lot of land. We live in a Timberhome on 31 acres with a pond. Plenty of room for a dog to run. Please note we do not have a fenced in yard. Your dog can roam supervised with one of us or we will take out on leash. I live at the Ocean Summit on the Galt Mile. I would like to limit my services to the Galt Mile residents to include pet sitting at your residence or dog walking. I do have a car and can take your pet to the Vet if needed. Since my proximity will be close I van provide services quickly. I require a meet and greet to confirm I am the right caretaker for your dog or cat. If your dog have an aggressive behavior, please let's do a meet and greet before booking to talk about it. Also, when I have the opportunity, I can help with some grooming as well (baths and nails, no hair cuts sorry). NOTE: Not accepting big dogs for boarding or daycare at my place, only small breeds under 20lb can stay. For big breeds I can offer visits to look after them while you're not at home (that will be less stressful for them also). Don't forget: Exercise, discipline and love is the key for happy dogs! Mornings are precious, normally the food is served around 7-9am, but before, a quick break to pee if need it. Afternoon is always full of opportunities, such as long walks, play time in the yard or even some trick teaching moment. Second meal is served around 6-8pm plus another mini break to pee and poop and finally a very comfy space and environment to sleep like a baby. My dog lives in a very clean, safe and friendly environment, where they can be theirselfs. No discrimination at all! They always have food, water and toys available and so much love and respect.
