Hi pet parents, I’m Emilie! I offer dog boarding and daycare in Fort Lauderdale with the goal of creating a calm, loving, and structured environment where dogs feel safe, comfortable, and truly part of the family. My husband Jimmie and I are both experienced dog lovers, and we’re very fortunate to spend our time surrounded by pups and all the love they have to give. I’m also a certified dog trainer with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. Our home is clean, dog-friendly, and located on a quiet street with a fenced yard, the perfect little staycation for your dog. We primarily welcome small to medium-sized dogs and intentionally keep our boarding environment selective. I carefully match dogs based on personality, temperament, and energy level to help maintain a peaceful and harmonious group dynamic for our regular clients. Typical dog friends at our house include small to medium doodle mixes, dachshunds, miniature poodles, cocker spaniels, Havanese, Bichon Frises, Maltese, Yorkies, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Shih Tzus, and similar breeds. During their stay, your dog will receive plenty of supervision, affection, outdoor time, play, cuddles, and personalized care. I also send regular photo and video updates so you can feel connected and at ease while you’re away. Teddy always has a blast on his doggy vacation at Emilie and Jimmie’s! He stays very busy playing tug-of-war with the other pups and all kinds of activities. He always comes home exhausted from all the fun! Thanks, Emilie and Jimmie you’re the best!
Emilie was so great with my puppy! He had the best time while he was staying with Emilie. She was so great about sending updates and pictures while he was staying with her.
My boys had the best time staying with Emilie! She sent daily photo updates and let me know how they were doing. This was my first time leaving them, so it made me feel so much better to receive the updates and seeing how much fun they were having with the other fur babies! Schedule
Caring for dogs fits naturally into my daily routine because I spend most of my days at home and structure my schedule around the dogs staying with us. Their day typically includes supervised outdoor time in our fenced yard, playtime, rest, cuddles, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I keep a calm and consistent routine so each dog feels safe and comfortable, whether they are here for daycare or boarding. I’m able to provide regular potty breaks, personalized care, and photo/video updates, making sure every pup feels like part of the family while they’re with us.

Safety, trust, and comfort are my top priorities. I keep a clean, calm, and dog-friendly home where each pup is supervised, cared for, and treated like part of the family. I’m very intentional about the dogs I welcome and carefully consider each dog’s personality, temperament, and energy level to help maintain a peaceful group dynamic.
A typical day
Each day depends on the mix of dogs staying with us. Some pups come ready to play, while others prefer a more relaxed day with cuddles, naps, and quiet company. I like to offer a good mixture of physical and mental stimulation, along with outdoor time, neighborhood walks when weather allows, and maybe a treat or two along the way. My goal is for every dog to have a fun, safe, and relaxing staycation while they’re with us.
