About: My family has two dogs and a cat I’ve cared for like my children! Along with my babies, I’ve volunteered with a rescue, Good Karma Pet Rescue of South Florida, fostering 20+ cats into new homes. Some kittens/cats were strays, caught by myself and supported by my family. My cat is a foster failure after being given up. I know puppy and kitten care from as early as 2-3 weeks. I work from home and have a lot of time to take breaks to tend to pet care while staying active throughout my working schedule. The days I go into the office (2x a week) I only work for 5 hours so have flexibility to come back to take care of pet needs. I make sure to be attentive and engaged while keeping the environment safe from hazards and obstacles. It’s important to me to make sure the pets are consistently supported and don’t feel uncomfortable or anxious.

About: I've always had a deep connection with dogs. I bring a very calming canine energy, and trust is gained quickly. Anyone who has a dog(s) and knows me well will ask me to sit for them when they can't provide the care their dogs need. When I retired from my successful 45 year sales career, I had planned on getting a dog. As it's turned out, my friends and neighbors with dogs have kept me very busy. And it's been the most fulfilling and gratifying chapter of my life. I just have an innate ability to connect with dogs and what I give to them, they give back to me. It's been a very rewarding time in my life now that I get to do what I love best: to be surrounded with canine company. And I can unequivocally and honestly say I'm very good at it. As I said, I'm retired and can easily accommodate the needs of prospective clients. I'm readily available and am very flexible with you and your dog's schedules. I live in my recently renovated condo in the very upscale community of Coral Ridge in Fort Lauderdale. It's a small two-story residence easily accessible to lush parks and magnificent estate homes. About: My 1st Dog, a German Shepard, Bert was born 2 weeks after I was, a puppy of my parents litter and had grew up with him till I was 13 yrs old. I always wanted to be a vet and by the time I was 5 years old had my own Rabbits and Hamsters. In my early teens we got another German Shepard, I go my 1st Ferret and we had acquired a cat Smokey :) With my love of animals shortly after as I was out of High School, I started working at a vet clinic at the age of 19 as a vet assistant, and worked as a full time vet tech for another 6 years, then working part-time for another 15 years, once moving to south Florida, I worked part time training dogs. I have raised and adopted my fair share of Dogs (as large as a Great Dane), Ferrets, and cats. Now living in South Florida I am a single parent of a 4 year old Dogo Argentino. I miss working with animals, making those connections and an impact on their life. This is why I am looking to help love and care for your I am work from home and do freelance work so i make my own schedule, am very organized and detailed oriented. I will work around my schedule to make sure I get your fur baby loved and cared for while you are out. I am highly trained on how to properly walk dogs, and am familiar with all training styles - Harness, Prong, Shock collar, gentle leaders, ect. I have personally trained dogs to all training styles which will is great if you have multi- dog household with different walking gear and needs. I have trained 230lb large breeds to 5 pounds dogs, including walking Ferrets, as my ferrets we all harness trained to walk :)

About: I have loved animals since I was a child, watching Discovery Channel and National Geographic. I adopted my dog, Coco Chanel, when she was 4 months old and she is now 13 years old. I began studying Pre-Veterinary Medicine right out of high school, but opted to follow my artistic endeavors in music. I addition to the great number of dogs I’ve boarded/walked and cats I’ve done drop in visits with, my experience is very personal, as it has just been my dog Coco and I for quite some time. Coco was very timid and frightened when I first adopted her and she has gradually come out of her shell, with patience and love. I would love a chance to care for your precious family member and I can guarantee a stay filled with love and compassion! I’m home full-time. If I’m out, it’s typically less than 8 hours. I work minutes from home, so I can always do a drop in to check up. All boarders have free range of my home, including a gated patio (with supervision)! A/C is always on and they always have access to the kitchen for water and food.
