About: Hi, I’m Marie! Caring for dachshunds has been a central part of my life for many years. My sweet long-haired miniature dachshund, Luna, joined me as a puppy and was my constant companion for 12 wonderful years. She truly lived her best life—going everywhere with me, acting as my shadow, and showing me just how deep and meaningful the bond between people and dogs can be. I lost her three years ago, but my love for dachshunds has never faded. I still have plenty of dachshund love to give! Alongside Luna, I also shared my life with Mohawk, my Dutch Shepherd (and Luna's "big brother"), whom I cared for into his senior years at over 15 years old. Through both of them, I gained experience caring for small and large breeds, puppies, seniors, and dogs with a wide range of personalities and activity levels. I currently don't have pets of my own, which allows me to give your pets my full attention, care, and affection while they're with me. About: I've had my own dog since I was 3...I could not live without my pets. I have also lost a lot of pets due to old age. I am retired so all my free time goes to my 3 labs and 1 cat. If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
