A typical day
I love to engage in play with dogs, whether that is toys, puzzles, or throwing a ball. I'm happy to either take them for a long exercise walk or a slow sniffing walk dependent on their age, energy level, and specific needs.

Pet care experience
Hello! I am a graduate of George Mason University (M.A.) and I work as a museum educator in the area. Recently my 14 year old rescue dog named Daisy, passed due to kidney disease and other chronic conditions. So I have quite a bit of experience caring for older pets, administering medication, and taking slow careful walks. I used to regularly hire dog walkers off Rover for her while I was at work, and it inspired me to join as well! I also have experience caring for my family dogs, a young Shih Tsu, an elderly Bichon, and most recently my mom’s German Shepard mix 1 year old. I also recently walked a 1 year old pit bull twice a week during the summer through Rover. I love dogs of all sizes, and one of my favorite breeds is pitbulls/Staffordshire terriers. I also have experience caring for two pet rats. I am always on time, detail oriented, and will send you lots of pictures of your fur baby and treat them like my own.

Gabby was wonderful! I appreciate her accepting my last minute request and coming by for a meet and greet prior to her first walk. She was really good with my Marley and was great with my care instructions. I'm extremely satisfied with her service!

Gabby did an amazing job house sitting for me. Rhis was the first time leaving the fur baby for more than a few hours. Luna is a rescue who went through a couple fosters before coming to me. I'm very sensitive to her worrying she was going through that again which is why I wanted an at my home dog sitter. Gabby was able to accommodate my less than 24 hour notice. She came over to meet me, Luna and get aquant3d with the home and routine. She sent regular updates and photos of Lunabelle, who couldn't have looked happier. I came home to an immaculate house, my dog, home, and plants were carwd for in my absence. Gabby is a genuine person who truly cares about the animals and lher responsibility as a caretaker. I will definitely use her services again and highly recommend her to anyone else.
