“Thanks, Felicia for taking care of Pita! She really loves you and feel happy and comfortable with you. Definitely I'll book further services with you. Kind regards and have a nice evening. Miguel Garcia”

“Kelly has been the absolute best petsitter we've ever had through Rover. She'll be the first person I check for availability for future needs. She was personable and caring, while also very professional. She sent pics and an update every day, and went above and beyond with some unexpected needs. My pets took to her too, which is the ultimate stamp of approval! This is the most at ease I've felt about the care of my fur-babies while I've been away. So glad we lucked out booking Kelly!”

About: I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life, and grew up volunteering in shelters and working at a kennel. I am completely comfortable around both cats and dogs, and I occasionally foster both through my local shelter while they wait for their forever homes. I’m experienced and certified in basic dog training for puppies. I am able to administer dog CPR and basic first aid in case of emergency. I’d be happy and proud to take care of your pet(s) for you. I am extremely flexible, and able to work with most schedules. I can do set schedules as well as one-time as needed schedules. Willing to work with my clients for whatever fits their needs. I am located very close to two pet friendly parks, and an extremely walkable neighborhood that has ample amounts of sidewalks. I love hanging out high energy animals that need a lot of play time as well as just relaxing on the couch with more low key pets!
“Serenity was simply outstanding! She took our dogs on long walks and played with them well! I could tell from the pictures she took that our dogs loved her! Many thanks to Serenity!”

About: I have taken care of animals since I was 3 years old, starting with feeding feral kittens formula from my doll's bottles. I preferred taking care of the kittens, dressing them in the doll clothes instead of playing with boring inanimate objects with crazy eyes lol. I have always been a dog & mom since my earliest memories, working up to horses for 30 years in my middle 20's until lasts death 10 years ago. I am currently the mom of 3 cats and 2 dogs. Who i arrange my life around their needs. I have a very flexible work schedule which allows me to add other's animals to my schedule. Being an animal mom, the hardest part of enjoying travel, is trusting someone with my babies. I hope to provide trust and dependability, so you may enjoy your travel carefree. Most animals seem to be naturally attracted to me, I make animal friends extremely easy. I am self employed, totally im control of my schedule. I arrange my clients appointments around animal obligations. I am single so overnight stays are not a problem for me. I have a live in roommate that cares for my animals, while I care for yours. I sit at people's homes, I do not bring other animals into my environment. I do have an outbuilding with a fenced large dog fennel 10ft tall, the building is 40ft × 20ft with electric if someone absolutely needed me to board. My starts with breakfast at 6am, dogs go for a potty break and walk, at noon I take them for another potty break & walk. After work we have a potty break, walk, then dinner. We go to potty as needed until bedtime

I have a valid driving license and car, and will reply to any questions in no time! I have a dog at home to keep other dogs company, as well as food, bowls, toys, and J don’t mind any dogs on the furniture.

“Jenna has been such a lifesaver! She takes great care of her pup clientele. 10/10 would recommend her! I was always sent an update, and plenty of pictures of the dogs getting some fresh air mid-day.”

About: Hey! As a devoted fur mama myself, I promise to make it my mission to take care of your babies as I do my own. They will leave my care even more spoiled than they already are! 🥰 I would love to answer any and all questions and you are also welcome to see where your babies will be at when coming to my home. I look forward to meeting all those sweet babies! My fiancé and I do both work full time but I’m off on all weekends and he is off on Monday’s. We have plenty of time to fit your babies into our schedule and help out a fellow fur parent! I have plenty of space in our townhouse and a large grass area for them to be walked and play in. I have a medium sized crate if needed as well. Plenty of toys and running space for play time all day. A comfy couch and bed for the babies to take naps and many spaces for feeding time. To keep safe measure.
“Does an AMAZING job with our animals, goes above and beyond what is asked every time we use her, to make sure the animals are comfortable and taken well care of when we get back. Will continue to book her as long as we can!”

“Jasmine was great. I've not had to use a pet sitter prior and she was very communicative during the entirety of the drop in visits. My location isn't set up to provide easy access to guests, but Jasmine was very accommodating to make certain that my cat was taken care of.”

About: Throughout my entire life, I’ve taken care of many different kinds of animals. Whether it be for family, friends, or the ones that have belonged to me. From Guinea pigs, to pups, to reptiles. I love animals. I can’t wait to to help take care of your pup! I work very close to my home, and my office hours are 9-5 Monday-Friday. I take an hour long lunch break with which I use to let my own pups out. So I can care for the pups anytime before, during my lunch break, or after work and almost anytime on the weekends. I base my caring for animals belonging to others off of how I care for my own. With love and proper attention! I observe and act on the needs I observe/am told about.
“Highly recommend Debbie! She was so good with our pup. She posted pictures every visit so we could see her while we were gone. She was very quick on responding and a great communicator. We will definitely be using her again!”

“Brittany was fantastic 😁! She took the time to come for a pre-visit since we had not met before. In addition to feeding our cats, she fed our fish, checked on our chickens and brought in a package that was delivered. She provided daily updates and tried to get pictures even though the kitties didn't cooperate! I really appreciate her care for our pets while we were gone. This is my first time using Rover and it was a great experience. I would recommend Brittany and I will definitely request her again if we have another need in the future.”

After I had children I switched to working with vets and worked for an AAHA accredited practice in Florida as a vet technician. I currently have two Labrador Retrievers. Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Columbus. On Rover:
- 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
