“Andy was great with our elderly dog Jack. We got regular photos and updates and he was very flexible with last min drop off and pick up times. Thanks Andy!”

“Whitney took wonderful care of my dog Pepper while I was away for a long weekend. Pepper can be shy and nervous at first with new people and Whitney took the time to make her comfortable and happy. Whitney sent me daily updates and photos letting me know that Pepper was settling in and doing well which gave me so much peace of mind. I fully recommend Whitney to watch your fur babies while you're away as she treats them with love and care as if they were her own!”

“Alyssa was great! I felt super comfortable leaving my dog with her, she was super communicative and sent pics! Highly recommend, hope to have her watch my pup again!”

“Oakley enjoyed his time staying with Zoei and her family. Her place is convenient to downtown Kalispell and provided a good mix of indoor/outdoor time to keep Oakley busy. Will definitely use again on future trips to MT.”

“Sophie and her family were so great. Very communicative. They sent me photos of my pup while I was gone and kept me updated with how he was doing. They have a great place for dogs to stay and a nice yard for the dogs to play in. This was definitely like a vacation for my dog!”

“I am so thrilled that I met Wilson and Kali. Super friendly and extremely competent with dogs, Wilson and Kali exceeded my hopeful expectations. I don't leave Winston often and he had the best play day ever! We are looking forward to his extended stay next week!”

“Brycen was great! We have a 1.5 year old chocolate lab with a lot of energy. We received updates about how our puppy was doing. She also seemed happy when we went to pick her up. Would recommend Brycen!”

“Naim was very responsive to iur needs for a dog sitter. He reassured us with his own calm dog and he treated Mika as one of his family. He sent photos and videos and overall took great care of our pup. We are very appreciative!”

“This was my partner and I’s first time ever leaving our dog Ruth with someone other than a close friend or family member in the 3 years since we rescued her. We were admittedly incredibly nervous about leaving her in a “strangers” care, but Kelly made the entire experience so enjoyable for us. From the very beginning she set up time to get to know us and Ruth and made sure she’d be a good fit for her environment. This initial conversation made us feel much more comfortable leading up to the day we were dropping Ruth off. As soon as we arrived to Glacier dog days, Kelley greeted us with a warm smile and seemed to immediately fall in love with Ruth. She took the time to chat with us about her needs/quirks and let us spend some time seeing her interact with her other dogs (who are also super sweet!). Obviously leaving Ruth was a tough goodbye but knowing she was in such great care made it all okay. While we were gone for almost 2 weeks, Kelly sent us daily updates (sometimes more than once per day) with photos of Ruth on adventures or napping around the property. I can’t begin to explain how comforting this was being so far away from her and knowing she was having such a great time. When we picked Ruth up, she was definitely happy to see us, but didn’t seem like she was ready to get out of there. She gave Kelly a goodbye that showed us how much she really enjoyed their time together and we could tell she missed her our first night back together. Kelly may be more expensive than other options in the area, but we would pay double her rates for the experience we received from her. If you are a nervous dog parent like us and want to make sure your pup is in the best hands possible, Kelly is your person! If we are ever back in the area and in need of a dog sitter, we will use her every time.”

“Lisa and her family did an excellent job watching over our little dog Mia. She sent daily updates with a picture included. Our dog was her normal self when we picked her up and Lisa gave us a good report on Mia’s stay. I give her my full recommendation without hesitation.”

“If I could give ten stars I would. Both my dogs ended up being really challenging during this visit and Genevieve handled it all with such kindness and consideration. My dogs couldn’t have been better taken care of and I’m deeply grateful. Excellent communication, excellent care!”

“What a wonderful experience. Sterling received the best possible care in the comfort of a loving home as the only dog in the house. I can’t say enough about how satisfied I am with his solo boarding experience! 🤗”

“Ozzie absolutely loves going to hang out with Sunnee. He runs to her as soon as I open the car door. Sunnee has a very calm and grounded energy. Ozzie never feels anxious about staying with her. Highly recommend.”

About: I am a full time Physical Therapist living in Whitefish with my boyfriend and our two dogs. I absolutely love animals. I am active and love the outdoors, so I will be more than happy to run or walk your dog as needed. I've been caring for animals since I was in high school and have had experience with all shapes, sizes, and ages. That being said, I have no problem giving medications, training, etc. I am quick to respond to calls/texts and give updates regularly while owners are away or at work and so forth. My goal is to go through your animals’ daily routine as closely as possible. Thank you for your consideration and I hope to be in contact with you as well as your pets soon! I’m currently working full time as a Physical Therapist and have some flexibility in my schedule to make things as smooth as possible for you and your pup. I work 8-10 hour days and if the location is right, can drop by over lunch for a potty break if needed. I will care for your pet at your home as close as possible to their regular schedule. If a walk morning and night is needed, they’ll get it. If snuggling on the couch is more important, we’ll do it!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Columbia Falls
Kelly is the BEST. She took my dogs to the river, sent me photos, and the pups were nice and tired when I got them back. I was able to spend the day in Glacier NP (her house is located between Whitefish and GNP) and know that my dogs were being well cared for. Kelly has a gorgeous piece of fenced property where the dogs could wander around and explore. Great energy all the way around. I look forward to booking Kelly again when I'm in the area!

Many sitters in MT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
