“Taylor was wonderful with our puppy and older dog. She was kind, reliable, and took great care of both of them while we were away. She kept us updated and clearly cared a lot about our dogs. We came home to two happy pups and would definitely book with her again!”

About: Hello! My name is Zoe and I’d love to watch your babies (pets)! I grew up with dogs, cats and rodents. I’ve spent a lot of time with big rescue dogs but feel comfortable with a variety of animals I work full time at a school and have flexible lunch breaks, so may need to leave animals alone for 4 hours at a time during the work week! I promise to respect all house rules and pet care instructions. I am receptive to open communication to make sure we are on the same page about everything! In addition to experience pet-sitting, I have a long history of childcare experience so I understand the importance of being trusting and dependable.
“Whitney was great! We had an easy meet and great and Jimi loved her. She came each day and loved on our boy & made sure he was taken care of!! I’ll definitely be calling on Whitney again!”

About: I started out with animal care by cleaning horse stalls when I was 15. Which included feeding and watering. I used to work at ZooMontana where I took care of the education ambassadors. I now work with large carnivores. I have two days off a week and can come and go as needed. I can come over early for potty breaks, during my lunch and in the evening. I do not currently offer pet sitting in my home. But can travel to you! I'm pretty flexible on traveling as long as it's in the valley.

About: Big dogs. Little dogs. Medium dogs. Tails of all lengths. Old and slobbery. Wet noses. Stinky. Doesn't matter to me. Walks, hikes, swims, etc. Bring it on. Will probably take an artsy picture of your dog pooping somewhere cool. I have that M-F grind so I'm only your weekend guy. But bc I'm your weekend guy I will be down for a hike, swim, or whatever gets that tail WAGGIN' I'm all about customer service so you tell me what your dog needs most :) Got an old dog that needs to go slow? no problem. Young dog that needs to let loose? giddyap!
“After using rover for a couple months and going through a few sitters Olivia was hands down the best experience that we have had and most affordable. Olivia was very respectful and responsible when it came to watching our puppy. Can’t thank you enough Olivia!”

“John (Priscilla’s husband) was generous with his time and took such great care of Winnie. He sent pictures after every visit and played fetch with her, which is all she really wants in life. Would definitely recommend!”

About: I’m experienced with everything from energetic puppies who need consistency and training, to senior dogs who need patience, gentle handling, and a slower pace. I make sure every walk or visit is tailored to each dog’s needs—whether that’s reinforcing good leash manners, giving extra cuddle time, or providing medication and mobility support. My goal is to not just care for your pet, but to make them feel loved, safe, and happy while you’re away. I currently work full time but am happy to assist on the weekends and evenings. In my free time I enjoy the sun and playing with my kittens. I have 2 kittens who always have clean litter boxes, clean bowls, and as many toys as they want! They get cuddled and play time every day.
About: I have grown up with dogs (puppies included) and cats my whole life. I have an 12-year old lab/golden retriever mix who is the sweetest boy. I am currently self-employed and make my own schedule so I have plenty of flexibility to take care of your furry babies! Last minute requests welcomed. I am clean and tidy and give animals the love they deserve! I do not mind cleaning up after them because accidents can happen. :)

“Brittany was wonderful and very responsive and attentive to my 3 cats. Gave me peace of mind while I was away during Thanksgiving holiday. I would highly recommend her for anyone needing a dependable drop in sitter for their cats. Thank you!”

About: Hi, my name is Shaima and I’ve had dogs my whole life! Big and small, to fluffy or almost hairless. I’ve been training my own dogs since the young age of 10, with the help of dog training tv shows! Also, I’ve been dog sitting my sisters two beautiful pit bulls for years, as she’s an avid traveler. I’m always up for whatever your dogs want to do! They want to play fetch? Awesome. Want to go for a walk? Be my guest. Nap time? You can never take too many naps. I’m sure I can give your special little pup the most love and attention. I never met a dog I didn’t love! I hope you will pick me to care for your beloved four legged friends.
“Eileen is great, she has watched our 4 dogs overnight and has done drop in visits. She is very informative and sends a ton of pictures and communicates every detail of her visit! One of our dogs gave her a hard time once and she handled it perfectly. Definitely recommend!!”

“Great experience! Erran was wonderful to work with, her professionalism, thoughtfulness, timely reports, and flexibility really made us feel at ease while we were away from Finley. We could tell that he gave Erran, two paws up!!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Columbia Falls
Taylor did an outstanding job walking and caring for our dog, Daisy. She was very flexible and accommodating with last-minute schedule changes, which we greatly appreciated. She not only took Daisy on walks but also spent time playing with her and keeping her company. It was clear Daisy was well cared for and happy while we were away. Knowing Daisy was in such good hands gave us peace of mind and allowed us to fully enjoy our vacation. We highly recommend Taylor as a reliable, caring, and trustworthy dog walker and pet sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Columbia Falls. On Rover:
- 100% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
