Cat Sitting in Columbia Falls

About: I grew up in Montana and have always loved the small-town way of life. My passion for animals started when I rescued my first dog at 15, and he now lives on through his two siblings. Caring for animals has been something I’ve always enjoyed, and I take pride in treating every pet as if they were my own. I have worked at a local dog boarding and daycare facility for the past four years, gaining hands-on experience with a wide range of breeds, temperaments, and special needs. Whether it’s high-energy pups, senior dogs, or those needing a little extra patience, I’m well-versed in providing personalized care to ensure every dog feels safe and loved. I work full time Monday thru Friday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM with weekends off! I can be flexible with running home for a potty break during the week. At home, all dogs are treated like family! I live in an apartment complex with three fully fenced, off-leash dog areas, giving pups plenty of space to play and exercise. For dogs staying in my home, they must be dog and cat friendly, as I have my own pets. If I’m caring for your pup in your home, I always follow their normal routine to help them feel as comfortable as possible.

About: I have been taking care of pets and homes all around the area. Since I can’t have one of our own yet we like to take care of others. I love playing with dogs and chasing them around. I love taking walks with them as well. I currently work part time so I have plenty of time to housesit and dog sit. My wife works full-time so we have plenty of flexibility and we have two cars. We cannot have animals in our apartment. So that makes it difficult to bring animals to our home that belong to other people. Maybe one day.

About: Hey there my name is Olivia, I have been Pet Stylist for about 10 years and have been taking care of animals my whole life. I’ve been doing pet sitting from my home for an about 6 years now. I do drop-ins for walks, and light grooming upon request. I take pets for overnight stays up to a week give or take a few days, but I welcome extended stays for pets we both agree would be content staying for longer periods of time if needed. My longest stay so far has been 4 months long. I love all breeds, ages, and sizes of dogs. I’m comfortable administering medication if needed and I am up to date on my CPR training. I’d be happy to discuss grooming options with you as well. I do prefer to do meet and greets before any bookings to make sure everyone is a good fit. However I do understand sometimes that is not possible, for example when I have people from out of state book. We have two cats, two Boston Terriers and a Rottweiler/English mastiff mix all of which have been great with other pets who stay with us. I also have 2 kids who are 6 and 9 years old, who are amazing with animals. I’m a stay at home mom so keeping an eye on your pets all day is easy for me and allows me to give updates any time of the day. We have a large fenced yard perfect for those active dogs! I always keep pets on a leash/harness if out for walks. Bookings with any overlapping stays will always need to have a meet and greet before hand so I know everyone gets along! Safety for all pets I watch is top priority for me.

Having been a Special Education Teacher and a School Counselor for many years, I learned the beautiful lesson of meeting many where their needs are in the moment. Growing to be attentive with a caring heart, while relying on our dear Lord’s guidance and mercy, has deepened my love to be of service to all God’s creatures, great and small. Being of service to some of the smallest in my life has definitely taught me some of my greatest lessons: unconditional love, patience, stillness and playfulness are just a few! Experience has also taught me that home is a precious gift and not one to be taken for granted, for not all are so blessed with one that is safe and clean. I have also discovered that one love language that seems to resonate in all scenarios and environments is the love of animals- personal or ones shared. Having been raised in a family where our animals were revered for the special gift they are it only made sense for me to pass this love and reverence for animals onto my children- and, now, my grandchildren too! My husband and I live in a lovely home with our 15 year old cat, Max. Max prefers his own space for sleeping at night and gets to do so in his spacious castle-tree area in our utility room. Any other time, Max can be found in one of his many comfy spots, especially the ones with cozy blankets. Our home has a small private fenced area which is surrounded by several large wide-open fields that are perfect for long walks, exploration and playing. On days that are especially cold, we can get exercise walking our indoor flights of stairs. When our grandoggos visit, they greatly enjoy both the inside and outside spaces- especially when those spaces are filled with friendly neighbors and extra loving attention! About: 24 years old I almost tend to get along better with dogs and cats than with people! I love them and they always seem to love me, too. I had a dog of my own since the age of 6 by the name of Theo and our bond was genuinely unbreakable. Unfortunately, he stayed with my dad when I moved out a few years ago and then passed away from old age not too long ago. I’ve been dealing with that loss to this day. I’ve had many different kinds of pets as well and I now own a dog by the name of Barney with my beloved boyfriend and this dog is genuinely like my adopted son. I also have a cat named Lucius. I love walking and enjoying nature and having a dog to accompany me in those moments is the ideal way to spend my day. I’ve dog sat for quite a few people through Rover as well as outside of it and for family members growing up. Now I am searching to branch out with my own pet care business. I’m a writer as well and even still it’s hard to find the words to articulate the emotions animals invoke in me. I’ll give it a shot anyway: Dogs, cats and animals in general have a way of bringing out the best in me to such an extent that, in my heart of hearts, I truly believe they hold the key to happiness. I’m currently a freelance worker so my availability is usually wide open. I also have reliable transportation so whenever you need me, I’ll be there.
