I'm retired from banking and loving the simple life, enjoying what I truly love.... caring for pets. Besides caring for my own pets, home, and family. I am available all days and will do my best to meet your needs. My three precious furbabbies-a very funny cat-Miss Kitty and two Pomskys-Sheeba & Earl-are my pride and joy. My Pomskys are escape artists which makes me hyper-aware. I understand the importance of protecting them and ensuring their safety. I love all fur babies with all my heart and treat them like children. I love to walk my dogs along the Niagara Falls Gorge trail and ArtPark in Lewiston. I have a bike trailer and take my dog and cat for rides.

About: Raised with the help of two Doberman “nannies,” in the home of a veterinarian. I was brought up in a home from tigers to monkeys and have a natural pull towards caring for all animals. Hi, I’m Raisa. I’ve lived with and cared for Dobermans, Dachshunds, Labradors, Australian Shepherds, Mixed Breeds, and now a senior Siberian Husky who adores other animals. I’ve raised puppies, supported seniors, and learned how to read a dog’s communication style quickly and intuitively. What sets me apart is the combination of: 🐾 A lifetime of hands‑on experience, including a course in Canine Science 🌿 A calm, confident presence 🎯 An ability to understand each dog’s unique personality and needs 🏡 A home environment that’s warm, structured, animal‑savvy and has a LARGE FENCED YARD Your pup will feel so understood and cared for, they’ll think of my home as their second home. I work from home full time so I will always be around hanging out with your pups from 8am-5pm and the evenings. Scroll down to "A Typical Day" to view their daily routine. I have a large fenced in yard and a very friendly female Siberian Husky who respects and loves fur babies of all sizes. Since our yard is large, we can accommodate multiple dogs at once if you have a large family. My pup is vaccinated and up-to date with flea, tick and heart worm meds. ATTENTION: No Indoor Marking Policy I cannot host dogs who mark indoors. Even small amounts of marking can damage flooring and trigger other dogs to do the same. If marking or repeated accidents occur, I will contact you for early pickup. Thank you for understanding and helping me maintain a safe, happy space for your pups.

“Charlie has found his home away from home!! We have been extremely fortunate and blessed to have found two remarkable fur baby lovers to take care of our little guy. Gen and Alex are very loving, caring and intuitive in their approach to meeting the needs of each individual ‘loved one’ entrusted to their care. Gen is a gentle, thoughtful soul who has shown us that Charlie’s well being and comfort are as important to her as they are to us. Gen and Alex have a home that is reflective of their desire to make sure that our pets have everything they could possibly need… toys (squeaky, squishy, large, small, mentally stimulating, etc.,), places to rest and snuggle (comfort/calming pet bed, couch, Gen’s bed for Charlie as he likes the security of being with his ‘loved one’), they have thought of everything! We didn’t know if we could find anyone who would tick every box when it came to leaving our Charlie in their care for a month while we were away, but Gen and Alex made us feel confident in them after Charlie’s first meet and greet!!! Charlie took to them after his second meet and greet (Gen suggested a second one to make sure that Charlie was 100% comfortable with them, which was wonderful). We booked a day camp for Charlie to become better acquainted with Gen and Alex before his long stay and the entire experience was great for Charlie and he settled right in for the day… Gen sent photos and updates to us to help us as we adjusted to leaving Charlie and it really did let us see that he was well taken care of, happy and having a great time. Look no further than Gen and Alex, we don’t think there could be any better than these two!! Highly recommend!!!”

We traveled from the U.S. to Canada over the holidays and booked Andreas through Rover to watch our puppy during our international travels. We had the best experience with him! From the beginning, Andreas was quick to respond and easy to communicate with. We felt safe and comfortable with him right away. As a gay couple, meeting strangers can sometimes feel daunting for me and my wife for safety reasons. Andreas was nothing but warm, friendly, and respectful toward us. When we arrived, his home was absolutely charming, with a cozy holiday atmosphere and a beautiful Christmas tree. He captured our puppy by the tree in stunning photos, and they looked professional — we felt like we had a complimentary holiday photo shoot! Most importantly, Andreas was gentle and attentive with our usually anxious puppy. She likes to be held when she’s in a new place, and Andreas patiently sat with our puppy in his lap for hours until she felt completely at ease. He made sure she was comfortable throughout the duration of her stay and even offered helpful advice when we asked. Throughout her stay, Andreas sent updates that were reassuring without ever feeling overwhelming to us. We highly recommend Andreas!
