“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Kendra did an amazing job watching my fur baby Rylo! She kept me updated throughout his stay with plenty of pictures and messages, which truly put my mind at ease while I was away and showed how much fun he was having. It was clear he was well cared for and loved. To top it all off, she even sent him home with a sweet gift 🥹💖. I’m so grateful for her care and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive pet sitter! I will definitely be booking again for future stays.”

“Dylan and Alex did a fantastic job communicating daily with pics and updates. My girls always looked happy and smiling. I would highly recommend them If you need a loving sitter for your fur baby!”

“Jay is so great! Left my 5 year old, super energetic lab mix with her and she handled him beautifully! I always worry that he will overwhelm people with his high energy... but Jay had no issues, and I had pictures and updates regularly throughout the entire stay!”

“If I could give 10 stars, I would do so!! I recently moved to Virginia and needed to board my beagle for an out of town trip. I was very anxious because I haven’t connected with a place that I felt comfortable leaving him. Roxana put my fears to rest immediately. The frequent updates, photos and videos of my pup having the time of his life eased my mind and allowed me to enjoy my trip. I will 100% book with Roxana again.”

“Ari provided wonderful care at her home for our two good sized dogs aged 12 months and 4 1/2 years. They are back home happy and well-adjusted. Thank you Ari for all the love you and your family gave our dogs!”

“My dog came back his self and Abby let me know that he does well with cats, which is great. I came to pick him up straight from the airport and I was running half an hour late to pick him up but Abby was accommodating.”
“I was extremely satisfied with the care Bentley received while with Amanda and her family. Her fur babies were very welcoming to Bentley and I felt he was happy with his new friends. To my surprise, they went on a “field trip” where they were allowed to run off leash and smell and play in a very large confined space . I worried he would not want to leave with me and leave his friends behind. I highly recommend Amanda and will definitely use her in the future!!”

“Michelle always does a great job sitting my dog. I had a last minute trip planned and she was able to accommodate. I even had a delayed trip back home and she was very flexible which I appreciated.”

“Cindy took great care of our Bella while we were on vacation. She sent us pictures and gave us updates every day. Before we left on our trip, we set up a meet and greet so Bella could meet everyone in the house and the other dogs. We knew she was going to be in great care while we were gone. We will definitely use Cindy again to watch our Bella girl.”

“Highly recommend. Damacia took care of Teddy very well.. Teddy attached to her as a family member. She updated every day with his picture. Thanks Damacia 🥰”

“Julie is a perfect pet sitter. She shared questions to help me explain all about my little dolly. She shared daily reports and pictures while my dolly was there. When I met her and Eric at our home visit, I felt immediately comfortable and knew she would do a terrific job taking care of my baby and she did. I'm looking forward to setting up another stay when I go away this spring.”

“Kourtney was awesome with our baby girl Daisy Mae! We were pretty nervous because Daisy is just under 2 years old and had never been boarded or babysat. Kourtney was great, providing updates every day and we can tell Daisy was well taken care of. Thanks Kourtney!”

“Quick and easy drop off. Lily is a rescue, been with us for six months, but opened up quickly to her and her family. (Sorry that she’s a Velcro dog!) Sent daily photos, but frequency could drop—I was admittedly nervous. I appreciate Shay’s patience and accommodations.”

“Eric is the best! I recently had a sitter cancel 6 hours before drop-off -- I thought my vacation was ruined! I immediately put out a Sunday morning last-minute Rover requests for a sitter, with very low expectations that anyone would even respond, much less accept. Within a few minutes, Eric responded and then accepted. He totally saved my vacation! After that, he was extremely communicative, but even better, he was perfect for my highly energetic doggo. He gave long dauly walks and play sessions. I knew that my dog would love having his Bucky as a 24/7 playmate, but I was very concerned that he has cats, since Sheba had never seen a cat before. Since she has a high prey drive, I thought there could be serious problems. Eric, however, seems to have a natural understanding of pets, and he was able to safely introduce Sheba to his cats, and apparently there were no issues. Also, Eric was highly flexible when my return flight was delayed by a day, and quickly agreed to extend the stay. I couldn't have asked for a better experience from start to finish.”

“Radka and James were fantastic! They treated our Chai like a part of their family. She didn’t want to leave. Chai was well exercised and had a great role model in their dog, Scooter. When we need boarding again, we will not hesitate to contact Radka and James!”

“Madelyn took excellent care of my dog Link and provided me with consistent updates so that I knew he was in good hands. I chose her to board him while I was away for the holidays, and would highly recommend her to anyone looking to do the same. I could tell he was treated as if she was his own. Thank you!”

“Caitlyn and Sam were absolutely amazing with our beagle, Gary! He can be a little nervous at first, and big noises tend to scare him, but they were incredibly patient, understanding, and gave him all the time he needed to settle in and feel comfortable. Their communication was outstanding from start to finish, which gave us so much peace of mind. They kept us updated with messages and photos, making it easy to relax knowing Gary was in such great hands. Since we were out of the country, their updates and communication meant even more. It truly felt like Gary was staying at his home away from home. Their girls adored him, and it was obvious that he was loved and cared for like one of their own. I honestly can’t say enough positive things about this family. They made us feel completely at ease, and knowing Gary was in such caring hands meant everything. If you’re looking for a safe, loving, and welcoming home for your pup, I highly recommend Caitlyn and Sam. We will absolutely be booking with them again!”

If we could give Rikki a 20 star rating we would!! Our sweet Izzy can be a handful/challenge but Rikki quickly figured her out beautifully! Rikki stayed on top of Izzy’s medication, understood her issues and somehow managed to keep up with Miss Izzy and her ways! Rikki sent pictures and updates which we loved- knowing Izzy was cared for made us relax!! We truly/ honestly can’t say enough positive things about Rikki! We feel so fortunate to have found someone we feel comfortable leaving Izzy! If we say more, Rikki may be too booked to keep Izzy in the future!! Definitely recommend Rikki!!!

Siobhan was great! She kept me posted about Shade and sent pictures. I liked she had other dogs for Shade to interact with. A plus is Siobhan’s location is very convenient to where I live. This is the third time I requested her services, however was only fortunate to book twice. Very pleased and would recommend!

Ellysia was an absolutely superb animal sitter for my dog and cat! She was always sending updates on my animals and took care of them like they were her own. My pets were so happy and returned very sleepy from all their activity at her house. I absolutely recommend her for all your pet watching needs!

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
