About: I grew up with many dogs of all sizes and personalities — from calm seniors to hyper puppies — and we also fostered animals growing up. Before having children, I worked at a doggy daycare, where I learned to care for multiple pets at once. Currently, my husband and I board for family and friends, and we’re excited to expand our care to more pets because we truly love animals! I am a stay-at-home wife, so your pets will have someone at home with them throughout the day giving attention, cuddles, and care. My husband works outside of the home, but he’s happy to help and loves animals too! While our 2.5-acre yard isn’t fenced, we have a dog trolley system that allows pets to safely explore and enjoy the outdoors while leashed. We also love walks, playtime, and games of fetch for dogs who enjoy daily exercise. With us, your furry family members will receive lots of love, attention, and supervision throughout the day! I’m a stay-at-home mom, so she’s available to care for pets throughout the day. My husband is home outside of my work schedule, so together we can provide attention, supervision, and love for your dog or cat almost all day. Safety: Your pet’s safety is our top priority. About: I’ve owned and cared for furry (scaled and feathered!) friends my whole life. From cats and dogs, to guinea pigs and bunnies, to fish and birds. I even have experience caring for sugar gliders and a ball python. I’ve worked as a pet uber (with a company called Leash) and volunteered at shelters, socializing events, and cat rescues for several years, so I’m used to interacting with all kinds of pet personalities and ages. From shy snugglers, to loyal guardians, to spunky characters, to goofy adventurers, I love them all! You can trust I will love on your baby and treat them with as much care as I do my own fur babies. My schedule is fairly flexible right now since my medical retirement from the Army in October. I’m currently working on an online M.S. in psych and substitute teaching in my boyfriend’s town (Clarksville, VA) whenever I’m available. Since it’s a long commute and I’m typically called the morning of, I try to keep Monday and Tuesday open to sub if needed. I am more than willing to do virtual and in person meet and greets to learn pet needs and routines. I prefer to meet in person to get acquainted with your pet while they feel safe in your presence (but I’ve never met a pet I didn’t click with and love immediately.) I’ll accept any additional written/typed outlines detailing your pets care if that’s easier than leaving notes in the app. You name it and I’ll do it; whatever is best for you and your fur baby. Dogs under my care will enjoy long walks and dog parks trips where applicable. If you have a puppy (or dog) in training, I love to partner in their learning using whatever commands you prefer. Kitties under my care will get lots of playtime with wands and lasers, as well as tons of snuggles.

Even the stinky butt, stinky breath, so ugly that they’re cute, accident prone, jumper, barker, puller, escape artists, babies too. I was raised with 2 boxers who have made their way across the rainbow bridge. I raised a super mutt for 6 years who has also crossed over. I now have a Rottie mix who was adopted through Chesterfield Animal Shelter going on 4 years ago. She is, in addition to my human babies, my dog child. She is the best of friends with my kids. If you ask my oldest how many brothers and sisters he has, she is included in his total … 😂 I have 10+ years of experience walking/pet sitting neighbors, family and friends dogs but im in my second year of pet sitting full time. Ari was very accommodating of Stellas needs as an older dog with knee issues. Her home is so dog friendly with plenty of places for Stella to rest and explore. “I was extremely satisfied with the care Bentley received while with Amanda and her family. Her fur babies were very welcoming to Bentley and I felt he was happy with his new friends. To my surprise, they went on a “field trip” where they were allowed to run off leash and smell and play in a very large confined space .
