“I was getting my house deep cleaned and needed someone to take the dogs since my friend couldn't. Calix was super responsive when I initially reached out and was very flexible regarding my cleaners not finishing when they said they would be done. No one's fault there but I appreciate his willingness to work with me! It seems like all 3 dogs had a good day because they came home and slept til the morning! This was my first time ever using Rover or a sitter in general so I was honestly pretty nervous about leaving them for 12 hours with a "stranger" but Calix texted me throughout the day and provided me pictures which helped calm my anxiety. About: I've owned two dogs and a cat for the past 17 years. Unfortunately we're a pet free family at the moment so we're eager to fill the void while we take our time to find the right dog to add to our family. We do have a small child who will be at home some days and all nights/weekends, but she loves animals and plays very gently. Making sure you feel comfortable while you're away is something I strive for. I can guarantee a picture and status update at least daily so you can rest assured that your pet is in good hands and is living it up! Last thing to note is that I am active and plan on being active with your pet. If your dog likes/needs walks, I'll make sure they get out and about and have plenty of opportunity to burn off some energy. I work from home and have limited engagements during the day, so the majority of the time I'll be here hanging out with your pet. I have a fenced in back yard with plenty of room to run and play. I've got a young daughter who may also be around during the day, and will be around in the evenings and on the weekends. We live in a nice walkable neighborhood and I like to get out and walk, so I'll make sure your pet(s) have plenty of exercise and attention.

About: I accept same day bookings but there will be 2 dollar upcharge for my non-repeating customers the first time. I have a full time job currently I work 7am-3:45 so I usually wouldn't be able to walk or drop in unless your within 2 miles of my house. On the occasions that I can not make your animal at all times but you still would like to book my wife has all the same credentials as me and can stop in also. During the summer my walking price is a bit elevated than drop in due to living in Florida it's extremely hot and during the summer very rainy. I’m currently working 7-3:45p Monday through Friday in office, so on weekdays I’m only available after 430p. My weekends are usually pretty open from morning to evening. My wife currently has THURS AND FRIDAY and after noon weekends in my home we have gates to keep taller dogs out unnecessary areas, and also a lot of brain games to keep dogs interested. I love going on walks and short runs with my own dogs.
