We spoke about the time being 12noon and that was not a problem. The first day (Monday) she was here on time, the next 3 days she arrived at 1pm. 1 hr later then discussed. Then Friday morning she texted us stating she was stuck at a house she was cleaning and was not gonna be able to make it. My wife had to rush from work in Sidney to take them out, then rush back. Keep in mind we had already paid for the entire week.”

About: I've been an animal lover my whole life and have grown up around both cats a dogs. I have hands-on experience caring for senior dogs. My dog, Phoebe, was diagnosed with lymphoma in October of 2025, and I helped care for her by giving her medication, bathing her, taking her on multiple walks each day, and making sure she was as comfortable as possible. She passed away in May, and I miss our daily walks and spending time with her. That experience taught me patience, compassion, and the importance of paying close attention to a pet's individual needs. I currently have three cats and regularly care for all of them. I'm comfortable bathing cats, trimming their nails, and recognizing when they need extra attention or a little space. When I was nine years old, my family adopted a kitten that had been abandoned by its mother, and I helped bottle feed and care for him, giving me experience with very young kittens as well. This summer, I have a very flexible schedule and am available for walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting throughout the day. I don’t currently own one due to apartment restrictions, but greatly wish I could. I like to dog sit because I get so much out of it. I truly LOVE DOGS! I am quite familiar with various breeds and their unique traits. Some of the breeds I have cared for are as follows: Akita, American Eskimo, Australian Shepherd, Bernedoodle, Bichon Frise, Border Collie, Boxer, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Chow Chow, English Bulldog, Frenchie, German Shepherd, Great Dane, Greyhound, Golden Retriever, Jack Russell Terrier, Labradoodle, Labrador Retriever, Pug, Newfoundland, Rat Terrier, Rottweiler, Saint Bernard, Sheltie, Toy Poodle, Welsh Corgi. I cared quite often for a dog with congestive heart failure who needed medicine & needed monitored for his breathing & risk for fainting. I’ve also cared for blind dogs and older dogs with dementia. Some of the dogs I’ve watched take medicine or have dietary supplements and restrictions. I’ve never had any pet emergencies while pet-sitting for others, but did have to take my family dog on an emergency run in her final days which resulted in her passing from old age at 16 years. I mention this to say, if an emergency would ever arise while pet sitting- I am familiar with the process to get the dog help. I have MedVet info saved to my phone so you can rest easy knowing I am prepared for any out of the ordinary circumstances any time of day or night. I also like cats & have done cat sitting on a more rare occasion, including homes with a cat and dog, or only cats. I have lived with a cat who was very close to me in recent years so I am familiar with their behaviors and needs. I’ve also administered medication to a cat with FIV although it is a bit tricky. About: I’ve grown up with dogs. I’ve had at least three to 7 dogs at a time in my home. As well as cats, ducks and bunnies! I have a unique ability to bond quickly with dogs, and animals. I love them. I believe God put them on earth to help to help us make it through the trials and triumphs of life. I believe all dogs are unique and have the own personality, and should be treated as such. And I will treat your dog as though they are my new friend, and hopefully will become my longtime friend. I have had senior dogs, so I am well aware of the extra care that needs to be given to these special dogs. They deserve to be treated with care and respect. I have also trained my dogs in basic commands. I will always abide by your wishes while caring for your baby. And will willing to listen to any concerns that may arise. I am currently a stay-at-home dog mom. So I have mostly open availability at this time. I’m sure this would be a excellent fit for my life!! While caring for other people’s pets, made sure to go to check on the pets many times a day. During that time, I stay and play, love on them, give treats or feed (if it’s time), play some more, and make sure they are properly tired until the next time I come back. I worry about them, honestly, as though they are my own. So I want to make sure they are happy and safe.

About: I have always had at least one dog in my home ever since I can remember. My parents kept me and my siblings responsible for them as far as feedings, exercise, and attention. My grandmother owns a grooming shop that I have loved to help with. I have also had experience helping in a dog kennel and taking care of cats. I also participated in training my 100+ lb. male golden doodle (who was too smart for his own good but has now passed sadly).
