“Emma was great with our dogs, however. We met with her prior to booking so we could get to know her and our dogs could meet her as well. We spoke about the time being 12noon and that was not a problem. The first day (Monday) she was here on time, the next 3 days she arrived at 1pm. 1 hr later then discussed. Then Friday morning she texted us stating she was stuck at a house she was cleaning and was not gonna be able to make it. My wife had to rush from work in Sidney to take them out, then rush back. Keep in mind we had already paid for the entire week.”

About: I have been trusted by many friends and family for years to provide dog care services. I have watched multiple dogs, big dogs, dogs that take meds, anxious dogs, etc. I am willing to walk, check in, or stay nights if needed. With summer my weeks are random. Most weeks I will be free unless already booked. I do online classes so am able to spend a decent amount of time watching dogs. I have watched many dogs in the past. The most dogs I’ve house-sat with at one time are 3. I am accustomed to following your pet’s individualized routine. I am very much a dog lover. I don’t currently own one due to apartment restrictions, but greatly wish I could. I like to dog sit because I get so much out of it. I truly LOVE DOGS! I am quite familiar with various breeds and their unique traits. Some of the breeds I have cared for are as follows: Akita, American Eskimo, Australian Shepherd, Bernedoodle, Bichon Frise, Border Collie, Boxer, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Chow Chow, English Bulldog, Frenchie, German Shepherd, Great Dane, Greyhound, Golden Retriever, Jack Russell Terrier, Labradoodle, Labrador Retriever, Pug, Newfoundland, Rat Terrier, Rottweiler, Saint Bernard, Sheltie, Toy Poodle, Welsh Corgi. I cared quite often for a dog with congestive heart failure who needed medicine & needed monitored for his breathing & risk for fainting. I’ve also cared for blind dogs and older dogs with dementia. Some of the dogs I’ve watched take medicine or have dietary supplements and restrictions. I’ve never had any pet emergencies while pet-sitting for others, but did have to take my family dog on an emergency run in her final days which resulted in her passing from old age at 16 years. I mention this to say, if an emergency would ever arise while pet sitting- I am familiar with the process to get the dog help. I have MedVet info saved to my phone so you can rest easy knowing I am prepared for any out of the ordinary circumstances any time of day or night. I also like cats & have done cat sitting on a more rare occasion, including homes with a cat and dog, or only cats. I have lived with a cat who was very close to me in recent years so I am familiar with their behaviors and needs. I’ve also administered medication to a cat with FIV although it is a bit tricky. I love them. I believe God put them on earth to help to help us make it through the trials and triumphs of life.
