“She was amazing! Ivy can be a little bratty, but Emma was awesome and got her to warm up quickly! Will definitely rebook with her!!! Always prompt, kind, and caring!!!”

About: I’ve loved and cared for a variety of animals throughout my life. I’ve had dogs, cats, a parakeet, hamsters, gerbils, rats, ferrets, fish, a bearded dragon, and a red tail boa. I LOVE animals. When I was a kid I would even spend my weekends at our local pet shop holding and playing with their animals. I am a mother of two teenagers, and have been a small business owner, so I am extremely responsible, reliable, caring, attentive to detail, and have the skills to do anything necessary to care for your pets. I am available most of the time, and my time is flexible. I recently sold my half of my small business and am now taking some time for myself (that I want to fill with animals!), so I am almost always available and flexible. We have a fenced in yard, but we also live in a beautiful historic neighborhood and love taking walks around the neighborhood and to the park as often as possible.
About: I will follow your directions, love your animal like it’s my own, and I’m comfortable administering basic medication. We don’t deserve dogs and they deserve the world. This is just a part-time gig, but I take it seriously and will show up for you. I have no problem waking up early and I’m off work by 2 PM so I’m pretty flexible with the evening/afternoon visits. I have a 6 foot privacy fence around my own yard for my two dogs. They eat in the morning and around dinner time. They don’t like the mail carrier, but are pretty friendly with the people who come inside invited
“Yolena took care of my two dogs, two cats, and 10 chickens. We really appreciate her agreeing to the contract with such short notice and taking on the brood. We would definitely use her again and we really appreciate her care of our pets ❤️”

“Britany is absolutely amazing. This was my first time leaving my fur babies and I had no anxiety because they were in her care. Communication is great and she is now my go to for caring for my babies.”

About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was 10. I had 2 family dogs growing up, and I was the neighborhood dog sitter! I have lots of experience and I am eager to make your furry family feel safe and comfy while you’re away! I work a full time job, so I am pretty available on afternoons and weekends. Typically after 3:30 PM on the weekdays, and as all day on the weekends. I have a fenced in backyard with lots of land! I have a safe and clean home that is super cozy for our furry friends.
“Brittany took great care of my cats and provided great updates throughout my stay. I would highly recommend her and would definitely have her watch my cats again in the future.”

“Mariah did an absolutely amazing job caring for my two Great Danes over the weekend! From Friday to Sunday, she handled my two 165-pound gentle giants with complete confidence, care, and professionalism. She made sure they were fed, watered, and walked twice a day, giving them plenty of attention and love each time she visited. It’s not easy managing two dogs of that size, but Mariah treated them like family and kept me updated the entire time. I came home to two happy, relaxed dogs — which says everything about the kind of care she provided. If you’re looking for someone dependable, trustworthy, and truly passionate about animals, Mariah is the one you want watching your pets. Highly recommend her and will absolutely be using her again! 🐾 — Michael Bland”
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 6. I’m experienced with all sizes, breeds and ages since I have worked in animal rescue for about five years. I have volunteered at Our Farm Sanctuary and I currently foster for The Rescue Haven :) My life has always been surrounded by dogs, I love my animals more than anything. The first thing I do when I wake up is take care of the pups, take them on a walk and then give them their breakfast and enrichment bowls/mats. I base my daily routine off my pets! I have fenced in yard and three fixed golden retrievers that are sweethearts. I do understand that some dogs would prefer to be alone and I can totally accommodate those needs. I ask that you provide your own food, that way there’s no upset bellies! You are welcome to bring a crate, toys, or anything else you think your dog might enjoy having! I have plenty of natural treats and frozen fruits/veggies if you’re okay with your dog having them. I also do ask that you send me a message before you head my way so I know when to expect you, I know schedules change and I can work with that!
“Our dog is so excited to see Autumn for his walks! She communicates extremely well, has flexible timing and is easy to arrange walks with. Autumn will definitely be our reocurring walker and we highly recommend her to anyone else!”

“Marisha has taken care of our 3 cats several times. She is conscientious and excellent at comminicating. She has also been willing to feed community cats (at our request) that stop by. She has gone above and beyond on a couple of occasions. I will hire her again.”

About: I have worked at two credible boarding/animal daycare facilities. I worked at both of these facilities for one year each. I worked with puppies, senior animals, kittens, large animals, and small animals. The first facility I worked at was connected to a vet clinic where I also gained experience. I worked with animals recovering from surgeries and animals with different emotional behaviors. I have been petsitting for 7 years. I am available to work around my class schedule to petsit and have a flexible schedule to watch your pets and care for them like they are my own! I have a six year old dog who I take for a walk 3-4 times a day when I am home from college. I love him so much and he is like my other half! He’s a jack russel with a lot of energy and a huge personality. When I am working with my clients pets, I hangout with them for the majority of the day and treat them like my own!
“Great! I needed a dog walker unexpectedly and she responded immediately and walked my (very hard to manage) large puppy. I got a nice picture of my sweet and worn out puppy after her walk.”

Greenwich Village pet parents share their Rover experiences
This was our second time booking with Mercy. She’s extremely communicative and always makes sure we know what’s going on with our boys while we are away. She gives detailed visit notes and gives us pictures. She also blows us away every time by going over and above by sweeping/mopping after the dogs, taking out the trash, and even picking up around the house while she’s there. Absolutely the best sitter we’ve ever used, and will continue to be repeat customers.
