“Kailey made sure to keep in touch and posted many pics and updates on our kitties. Leaving them home was very stressful for us but she helped put our minds at ease. She is very trustworthy and thorough. I am so glad we found someone who is so knowledgeable about cats to watch them.”

About: I’m a proud dog mom to a Mini Goldendoodle who turns 2 on June 28. She’s the sweetest, friendliest little girl and truly a part of my family. Spending every day with her has taught me so much about the love, patience, and attention that dogs need to feel happy and secure. I’ve always had a soft spot for animals, and I genuinely enjoy being around them. Whether it’s going for walks, playing fetch, sticking to their routine, giving extra cuddles, or just keeping them company, I love making pets feel comfortable and cared for while their families are away. What sets me apart is that I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else. I know my dog is my baby, and I treat every pet with that same level of love, kindness, and care. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, loved, and right at home with me. I’ll also send plenty of updates and photos because I know how reassuring it is to see your furry family member happy and having fun Pet care fits easily into my routine because I already spend my days caring for my own dog. Adding another dog to the mix doesn't feel like work to me, it's something I genuinely enjoy. I'm used to daily walks, feeding schedules, potty breaks, playtime, and all the little things that come with being a dog parent. Your pet's safety and comfort will always be my priority. I understand that every pet is different, and I do my best to keep their routine as consistent as possible so they feel comfortable and secure. In my home, pets will have a clean, safe environment with plenty of attention, playtime, and supervision. About: I have a lifelong passion for animals and extensive hands-on experience caring for dogs. I attended veterinary technician school and worked at an animal hospital, where I gained valuable knowledge about animal health, behavior, and safety. I've had dogs my entire life and currently care for four of my own, giving me daily experience with dogs of different personalities, sizes, and needs. In addition to caring for my own pets, I have provided dog walking and pet sitting services for neighbors, family members, and friends over the years. My background allows me to provide attentive, reliable care while ensuring your pet stays happy, safe, and comfortable. My schedule as a part-time server gives me flexibility, allowing me to dedicate time to dog walking, pet sitting, and providing personalized care for pets throughout the week. I enjoy staying active and spending time with animals, so incorporating pet care into my routine comes naturally. When caring for pets, my priority is always their safety, comfort, and well-being. During walks, I make sure dogs get the exercise, mental stimulation, and attention they need while following any instructions provided by their owner. I pay close attention to each dog's pace, personality, and comfort level to ensure they have an enjoyable experience. I am experienced handling dogs of different sizes and temperaments and understand the importance of proper leash safety, hydration, and avoiding potentially unsafe situations. After each walk, I can provide updates on how your dog did and make sure they are settled comfortably before I leave. My goal is to give pet owners peace of mind knowing their dog is being cared for with patience, reliability, and genuine love for animals.

“I had never used Rover before but found myself in a tough situation. I work in healthcare and had to work til very late at night. I was worried about my dog being alone from 5:45am until late at night. Jule responded immediately to my message and was more than happy to help me out. She came over to let my boy out and walk him around. I was extremely thankful for her willingness to help on such short notice, especially for a new client. She was a true life saver!!! Her calm demeanor put me at complete ease with the situation I was in. Thank you for everything Jule!!”

“Marián has been so great with Charlie. She is timely, sends updates, and makes sure everything is the way it was left. I appreciate her services and will be using her again! 10/10 experience!”

About: I spent my youth training to be a vet and fostering dogs. I learned a lot at vet school, namely that I couldn't ever deliver the final act of compassion. So, I turned my attention to my true passion - caring for dogs! I have been dog sitting for over 15 years and I love it. Every new dog that I meet reminds me how much I love dogs. I am flexible to the needs of every dog I care for and will make their experience with me as similar to their home life as possible. I have two dogs of my own, but they LOVE meeting new dogs to play with. If your dog is not as keen to new friendships, I can separate them all with ease. I have only one hard line, I need to meet you and your dog before the stay. I have learned that it is the best way to ensure your dog's comfort in their stay. I did not always adhere to this and I have seen some very stressed out fur babies. I want your fur pups happy and healthy as much as you do! Thank you for your consideration. I work from home so, I will be with your dogs all day. If we have any grocery trips or daycare drop offs, they will be crated for those brief periods. We keep our dog-less activities to a minimum during pet stays. We have no fence and our dogs run off-leash. With your dogs, I will walk them leashed because dogs (like children) test boundaries. We also go to creeks and hikes very often, and your dogs will join us leashed (if you approve).
About: I have experience with dogs, cats and exotics especially parrots! I have experience with snakes, bearded dragons, rats , Guinea pigs and rats too I’ve watched various neighbors dogs for years and always focus on giving them a fun day since it’s really stressful when your a dog family leaves even for a few days. I currently have no pets at the moment so I can dedicate time to yours! I am working part time so I have a very flexible schedule and my own reliable transportation. With notice I can easily modify my routine to make sure I’m there for your pet In my home I current have it parrot proofed. So we have no chemical or anything toxic that can easily be gotten into. I also make sure not to keep any toxic foods in the house as an extra level of precaution and know that you cannot leave them alone because you never know what any pet will get into especially when their routine is disrupted

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
