About: As a young child I provided care for my neighbors pets while they were out of town. I’m excited to begin providing care again for families going on vacation or while at work. I currently work part time and every 4th weekend. I am available for walks and check in visits from 8:30-2pm as well as 4-8pm on my off days. We have 4 animals total. A 8 year old black lab, 4 year old cat, and 8 year old cat. Our dogs do well with other pets, they love to play. The younger cat likes to socialize with the other pets while the oldest prefers to hide out.

Most weekends, I'm available all day and night. I will care for your pet in your home to the best of your instruction. I will ensure to discuss every need and want to make sure your furry friend gets all the best care.
“Kailey made sure to keep in touch and posted many pics and updates on our kitties. Leaving them home was very stressful for us but she helped put our minds at ease. She is very trustworthy and thorough. I am so glad we found someone who is so knowledgeable about cats to watch them.”

I will provide them with fresh water always, and treats (with permission). I can also clean up any messes your pet may make in your absence. I also have no problem administering medication, however I would prefer to have a demonstration beforehand or meet beforehand and try with the owner present to ensure your pet is getting the medication they need correctly and calmly! I am able to spend any extra time to play or make sure your pet feels loved and comfortable during your time away!

About: I’m a proud dog mom to a Mini Goldendoodle who turns 2 on June 28. She’s the sweetest, friendliest little girl and truly a part of my family. Spending every day with her has taught me so much about the love, patience, and attention that dogs need to feel happy and secure. I’ve always had a soft spot for animals, and I genuinely enjoy being around them. Whether it’s going for walks, playing fetch, sticking to their routine, giving extra cuddles, or just keeping them company, I love making pets feel comfortable and cared for while their families are away. What sets me apart is that I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else. I know my dog is my baby, and I treat every pet with that same level of love, kindness, and care. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, loved, and right at home with me. I’ll also send plenty of updates and photos because I know how reassuring it is to see your furry family member happy and having fun Pet care fits easily into my routine because I already spend my days caring for my own dog. Adding another dog to the mix doesn't feel like work to me, it's something I genuinely enjoy. I'm used to daily walks, feeding schedules, potty breaks, playtime, and all the little things that come with being a dog parent. Your pet's safety and comfort will always be my priority. I understand that every pet is different, and I do my best to keep their routine as consistent as possible so they feel comfortable and secure. In my home, pets will have a clean, safe environment with plenty of attention, playtime, and supervision. I make sure doors and gates are secure and never leave pets unattended in situations that could put them at risk.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
