“Caitlynn has been walking my dog Sailor on a regular basis for almost three weeks now, while I am at work all day; and I cannot begin to describe my dogs calmness when I get home. It has been a sigh of relief knowing my doggo is in good hands and has the availability of getting out and moving around with some company while I am at work. Caitlynn has not only walked and spent time with Sailor but has also taken to brushing him, which is his favorite thing to do. I would highly recommend Caitlynn and have every intention of continuing to book her with her availability.”

“We really enjoyed having Kelci come and take care of our boys. She made us feel like we had nothing to worry about and we could enjoy our day out . We came home to happy boys! Thank you for being willing to spend some time with our boys.”

About: I've grown up around pets my whole life and caring for animals has always been second nature to me. I've done pet sitting alongside my partner for a while now helping with feeding, walks, playtime and keeping routines consistent while owners are away. I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe and comfortable in their own environment and I try to make that as stress-free as possible. I'm new to having my own profile, but not new to caring for animals. Give me a chance, your pets will have a wonderful time with me! As a shift supervisor, my schedule is consistent and allows me to plan ahead, which means I can dedicate time each week to caring for pets. I make pet sitting and walks a priority around my work hours, and I’m reliable about showing up when I commit. Whether it’s early mornings, evenings, or days off, I have the flexibility to make sure pets get the attention, exercise, and love they need! When I care for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as familiar and comfortable as possible. I follow any instructions closely—whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, medications, or playtime so that pets feel safe and cared for in their own space. I treat each home with respect, keep things tidy, and make sure you can come back to both a happy pet and a comfortable home.

I will make sure your pet feels comfortable and cared for!
About: animals have always had a huge part of my heart, i’ve always loved being with animals. i grew up around many different animals and have cared for quite a good amount. i’ve also had many different animals, especially dogs. i've helped one of our old dogs give birth to her babies, i also took care of the babies. im also used to senior/teen dogs as well. i just overall love them. most of the time i am probably with my nephew since i have him when my sister works and if she needs me to. but as of right now, that is the only main priority i have. our yard is fenced in, we are working on getting a privacy fence as well. i live with my dad and he does have another dog but if they don’t get along then we are able to separate them, so you wouldn’t need to worry about that !

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
