Corey is great with Sandy, who is usually slow to trust new people, but loves her time with him. Couldn’t ask for a better person to spend time with your doggo!

About: I've taken care of animals for the past 12 years for clients and friends of mine. Their animals always took to me really well with me being around them so often and showing them love, so they began asking me if I could pet sit for them. I also have a 3 dogs, 2 cats, 2 rabbits and chickens. I am a stay at home mom that homeschools so my schedule is very flexible. Let me know your preferences and we can work something out. I can administer medication if needed also. I have experience giving insulin shots. I show them love and affection, let them out to go potty and play with them before I put them back up. I follow detailed instructions

Karri is so wonderful! You can tell that she is an animal lover and she does a great job walking my two dogs. They absolutely love her, and seem so much happier now. She will send pictures and notes each day and that is so nice to get that while at work. I would recommend you book her for your next Rover need!

Caitlynn has been walking my dog Sailor on a regular basis for almost three weeks now, while I am at work all day; and I cannot begin to describe my dogs calmness when I get home. It has been a sigh of relief knowing my doggo is in good hands and has the availability of getting out and moving around with some company while I am at work. Caitlynn has not only walked and spent time with Sailor but has also taken to brushing him, which is his favorite thing to do. I would highly recommend Caitlynn and have every intention of continuing to book her with her availability.

About: Hi, I'm Elizabeth! if you're looking for a dog sitter who goes above and beyond just potty breaks and playtime, you've found the right person. I bring years of hands-on experience as a veterinary technician, so your pup will be in safe, knowledgeable, and compassionate hands- whether they need meds, or just deserve a little extra TLC. I've also worked at dog boarding facilities, giving me professional experience with all types of breeds, temperaments, and routines. I'm always reinforcing positive behavior, reading body language, and helping dogs feel more confident and secure. I'm here to give your dog an stress-free, personalized experience-while giving you a total peace of mind. Let's chat! I'd love to meet your pup and see how I can help. Blessed to have my own business which allows me to be home during the week. Which gives me the opportunity to spend time with your pup. For Boarding, your pet will be kept loose throughout the day and have plenty of potty breaks. If I need to step out for an errand, they will be left in a crate to prevent them from getting into anything. Pets are crated at night unless you provide a bed that they prefer to sleep on. If you have a puppy (under 6 months) that isn’t fully crate trained just yet, we will work with them while they board with me. ALL PETS must be on heart worm and flea prevention. If a large amount of fleas are detected, they will be treated at pet owners expense.

About: I’m studying to be an engineer and my dad has a joke that i’m coming back as a veterinarian which says a lot. Unconditional love is what dogs have and the only thing you can do with it is to give some right back to them. I love going on walks and runs even without dogs, so it’s a perfect match. I’m also pretty good at tug of war, i might let your dog win a few times. I’m currently a student at A&M Kingsville with a lot of free time between classes and i’m very flexible as far as my schedule goes. I’m always eat at home and can unsure your dog gets a meal too. I do have a medium sized crate along with some treats of my own. In my apartment complex there is a fenced in doggy area as well as a bunch of yard throughout. As stated though, i love going on walks and letting them explore the campus, and other people love giving out pets and scratches.

About: I’ve had experience with many animals of different species for many years and can take care of all needs. I was a dog trainer and certified in dog and small animal wellness. I am currently a pet care specialist and do all that I can for all and their pets. I also have a degree in environmental science and pet wellness. I also like to applaud myself for customer service skills and being personable with everyone I meet. I will talk to you like I’ve known you forever and I strive to be someone those can be comfortable around. 😊 As a pet care specialist and pet owner myself, my schedule ranges from 8-9 am for spot cleaning and feeding, then around 12 I do pet checks, and around 5-6 is when I do final checks. For dogs, it follows the same structure with added enrichment and outside time in between. I have one dog and one puppy who spend time mostly outside and come in for breaks and food/snacks. I have a cat who eats twice a day and will occasionally be put in his stroller to go outside and enjoy the fresh air lol. And I have 2 guinea pigs who eat twice a day and will come out of their cage for enrichment and play time.

About: I’m in my mid 30s and been responsible for at least one pet since I was about 8. I love all animals and have personally had cats, dogs and fish. I graduated from A&M Galveston with a degree in Marine Biology and am currently working with marine mammals. I have experience in dog and cat training, this includes harness/leash and behavioral. Because of my degree I have a background in animal behavior which I use to help talk to and understand animals. I have worked with pets, dolphins and wolves in the past. I absolutely love animals and find it the most rewarding teaching and interacting with them. Please let me help you love your pet. I currently don’t have any set in stone commitments but I have the occasional volunteer project but can work around any Rover commitment. Let me know what you need and we can figure something out! I have a truck so it’s easy to go somewhere safe for your pet if your neighborhood doesn’t have a good play spot. If I am staying at a clients place can take the dog to a dog park if there isn't one nearby.

About: I have had my dog since he was first born and I've had pets my entire childhood almost. I house trained Bandit my dog in one month, which includes potty training, hand signals, and crate. I stay at home with my 6 month old son so I have plenty of time in my day to care and play with pups. I have an unfenced yard but I have 2 leads outside and I like to take my dog to the dog park. He gets treats but we don't give him any people food. My dog used to sleep on the bed with us but since my son has been born I haven't let him on the bed. My son is getting more mobile and I'm thinking about letting him back on the bed. I also have a big box of dog treats. If a dog crate is needed I have plenty of room.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of June 2026, there are 813 sitters on Rover offering Dog Walking across Snipe. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Snipe. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Snipe.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Snipe. On Rover:

  • 92% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 93% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
