If you have a puppy (under 6 months) that isn’t fully crate trained just yet, we will work with them while they board with me. ALL PETS must be on heart worm and flea prevention. If a large amount of fleas are detected, they will be treated at pet owners expense.
About: I’m studying to be an engineer and my dad has a joke that i’m coming back as a veterinarian which says a lot. Unconditional love is what dogs have and the only thing you can do with it is to give some right back to them. I love going on walks and runs even without dogs, so it’s a perfect match. For dogs, it follows the same structure with added enrichment and outside time in between. I have one dog and one puppy who spend time mostly outside and come in for breaks and food/snacks. I have a cat who eats twice a day and will occasionally be put in his stroller to go outside and enjoy the fresh air lol. And I have 2 guinea pigs who eat twice a day and will come out of their cage for enrichment and play time.

About: I have had my dog since he was first born and I've had pets my entire childhood almost. I house trained Bandit my dog in one month, which includes potty training, hand signals, and crate. I stay at home with my 6 month old son so I have plenty of time in my day to care and play with pups. I have an unfenced yard but I have 2 leads outside and I like to take my dog to the dog park. He gets treats but we don't give him any people food. My dog used to sleep on the bed with us but since my son has been born I haven't let him on the bed. This was the 4th home boarder he has been with in 2 years, all lengthy stays and a range of positive and negative experiences. Kristin was great about meeting up with us to get acquainted and then scheduling a mini trial to be sure of a good fit with her two dogs. Auggie is hyper alert and anxious in new surroundings, but he was able to relax relatively quickly and appeared at home in the pictures Kristin sent during his stay. Kristin also took the time to follow through with specific requests regarding food, brushing, and dental care and communicated clearly from start to finish.
