About: I've always had pets of all kinds. Currently 2 dogs, 2 cats, and a lizard. This is a fantastic way to get out of the house and to get exercise. It's the best way to pep up any day! I work M-F, but am available all hours on wkends, and before 6am/after 4pm through the week. I do not have children. Only pets so my schedule is extremely flexible with the exception of work hours. Always follow the rules given, do not touch and respect the clients home and what is inside of it. Clean up after the pet, and ensure I go above and beyond what is requested.
“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely fantastic experience! Ashley S. was very accommodating and incredibly communicative throughout the entire stay. We always felt at ease knowing our dog was in great hands. Our pup was so happy and playful when we picked her up and relaxed when she got home. Truly grateful for such wonderful care and highly recommend!”

I had so much peace knowing she was caring for my dog. She sent me pictures, videos, and updates consistently. It made me feel so good knowing she was in such great hands. If you need someone who truly cares and loves pets, Wendy is the one to go with. You will love her. She is kind, patient, and so loving. She has such a welcoming home. Highly recommend!!!!”

I stay at home so dogs or cats are integrated and socializing with me 24/7. I do have animals of my own as well, the more the merrier! I have 2 friendly dogs in my home, they do have their own kennels as well. We do not have a backyard but we do have a nice dog park that we use, as well as a larger dog park nearby.
“Tyera was professional and responsive. Sent a ton of photos and videos during my pets stay. I had no reason to be apprehensive because right from the start you could tell she cares a lot about dogs. Jonah almost seemed sad to leave. I recommend her services!”

About: I’ve fostered for the SPCA. I’ve sat for countless friends, family and colleagues. I have an undeniable connection with nearly all animals that I encounter. I’m currently a stay at home mom for my 11 year old son. Also, having 2 adult daughters, 1 of which is currently in college and the other just got married last year and is starting a family of her own. I have a VERY large fully fenced in backyard that is ideal for dogs of all ages and breeds. I allow them full access to roam freely inside or outside by use of the doggie door. If I have dogs from different families I have 3 separate fully furnished and doggie friendly “guest rooms” that allow for space and privacy if needed.

“Karen is just perfect and the most understanding dog mom. Found her almost last minute but she was so easy to work with and was so kind and patient to my dog. Gave updates regularly about my dog. Her house is perfect for my baby who felt really at home from the pictures she sent me. Highly recommended and will definitely book her again next time I travel.”

“Kristin was great from the start, communicating well before and during the stay. She boarded our border collie for two nights and sent good pictures and that our dog was doing well. I would recommend Kristin and Jellybean and will use them again.”

Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
