About: I have been dog sitting since I was a child and love it! We go on walks every day and have a golden doodle who loves playing with a friend. I am able to give your dog lots of love and care because I am able to be home with them all day! I currently stay at home so I will be available all day and able to give your pet my full attention. I'm available all throughout the week for boarding and walking or drop ins in the mornings and afternoons. We have a very large common grass area for our backyard where they can roam but do have to be on a leash. We can crate your dog if and when needed.

About: I have cared for all types of pets from all different ages in my many years of veterinary and kennel experience as well as being a pet owner myself I am currently pursuing a new business venture and have no work schedule to keep me from being able to provide my undivided attention and love to your fur babies. I have two friendly dogs to keep your pet company as well as large areas in my home to keep separated if preferred. I live close to the sugar creek greenway to provide as many walks and outdoor time as your pet desires.

About: Hi y’all! My name is Grace and I grew up with a cockapoo and lab back in MN. While I do not have a dog of my own here in CLT, I love spending time with pups whenever I have the opportunity! I am work from home some days and am able to let dogs out and/or take a midday walk. I am available more consistently after 5pm, too. I always ensure to be mindful of a pets safety and owner preferences when I am walking them, watching them, etc. I tailor to whatever the dog is used to :)

About: Hi! My name is Hailey and I’m a dog walker/sitter here in CLT :)) I have a fur baby of my own, a one year old Cockapoo named Lenny, who I adopted in February 2024. After growing up with Chow Chows, Jack Russel’s, Poodles, and some exotic pets (hedgehogs mostly), adopting Lenny was a no brainer and a dream of mine. From there, I turned my love for animals into a side gig of dog walking and pet sitting on the side. It has been the best decision! If you’d like to chat more, please don’t hesitate to message me! I look forward to caring for your fur baby!! As someone who works with a hybrid work schedule, I have the flexibility to fit dog walking and pet sitting into my schedule. If there is ever a scheduling conflict, I will contact you asap. I also always make sure my calendar is up to date! Dog walking is all about the dogs safety and owners preference. Whether this means an hour walk around the neighborhood, letting the dogs play in the backyard, and including some cuddles before leaving, I am open to anything! My main goal is to make sure the owner and their fur baby are having their needs met and adding some additional love to your dogs day. Although I don’t care for animals in my home, I offer drop-in visits! During these visits, I like to follow the schedule the owner prefers which normally consists of feeding times, exercise, and of course cuddles and playtime. Any other accommodations will be met!

Grace C.
“🌟 "Grace"fully Walking the Walk: Dog Walking's Unchallenged Sovereign! Rating: ★★★★★ Before I transport you into the saga of a dog walker extraordinaire, allow me to give you a snapshot of my daily life. I am the proud, albeit slightly frazzled, human companion to a lovably rambunctious Beagle named Buster. Buster is a bundle of energy with a penchant for chew toys, a love for chasing his tail, and an unyielding curiosity for the squirrel population. Enter the dog whisperer, the leash laureate, the pet pundit - Grace. From our first interaction, Grace radiated a zen-like calm that would soothe even the most frazzled nerves. Yet it was Buster who was her ultimate critic. Suspiciously eyeballing Grace from beneath his furrowed brows, he cautiously ventured forward to offer a tentative sniff. Then, Grace did something that can only be described as pure magic - she spoke in his language, calming Buster with her gentle demeanor and enchanted touch. The transformation of Buster in the following weeks could rival any feel-good Hollywood blockbuster. Grace, with her charm and gentle firmness, turned my furry firecracker into an obedient angel. The dog that earlier had thought 'Sit' meant 'Leap for Joy' was now comprehending and obeying commands with a speed that would put supercomputers to shame. But Grace wasn't just a fairy godmother for Buster. She catered to my needs as a doting fur-parent too. Her daily updates weren't just a mundane checklist of pees, poos, and walks, but an engaging chronicle of Buster's day - the friends they'd met, the hidden smells they'd uncovered, and even the captivating trails they'd explored. Under Grace's tutelage, Buster transformed from a wild whirlwind into a well-behaved companion. His trust and respect for Grace was evident in his bright eyes and wagging tail every time she arrived for their daily adventures. The house was no longer a victim of Buster's energy surges, but a peaceful haven when I returned from work. Grace is more than a dog walker. She is the Jane Goodall of dog whispering, the Bob Ross of pet psychology, and the Mr. Rogers of the Rover realm. To label her as a dog walker is as inadequate as calling Beethoven a piano tinkerer. Grace, you are a maestro in a world full of amateurs. You've conjured up a symphony from Buster's energy and curiosity, transforming him into a pup Picasso would have painted. You've brought harmony into our lives, and for that, we will always be grateful. For those on the hunt for the queen of dog walking, look no further. Grace is the Dumbledore of dogs, the Beyonce of Beagles, and the Einstein of obedience. However, be warned - once you experience the Grace effect, you and your canine companion will be forever spoiled. Prepare to be amazed!”

“Shana has been great to work with and super easy to communicate with. Leo enjoys his walks with her! 100% recommend.”

Hailey R.
“Hailey has been a friendly and attentive caregiver for my cats! I have used Haileys service more than once and will continue to use her going forward. Hailey sends picture updates of my pets daily so I can see my fur babies. She really cares about my pets and spoils them just like I would. I can count on Hailey to make sure my cats are being taken care of.”

Stephen D.
“We left our 1 year old Sheltie with Steve. Our dog has a lot of energy but Steve was great with her. He took her for walks, watched her during the day time and took care of her for 4 nights. We will definitely use Steve when we go out of town again as it’s a better feeling to keep our dog with a person like Steve rather than at the boarder.”

Closeburn-Glenkirk dog parents share their Rover experiences
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tony was absolutely amazing with my dog Winston! From the moment they met, Tony was kind, patient, and clearly experienced with dogs. Winston can be a little particular, but Tony made him feel comfortable and happy right away. He sent great updates and photos during the walk, which gave me peace of mind. When Winston got home, he was relaxed, well-exercised, and clearly had a great time. I’m so grateful to have found someone I can trust with my pup. We’ll definitely be booking Tony again!

Lisa has been a huge help walking my pup Mango, twice daily. She has been communicative and accommodating when it comes to the nuances of walking a 4 month old goldendoodle. She has become part of mango’s daily routine and I know he looks forward to seeing her. Would not hesitate to have Lisa help out in the future.

Alaijaz was amazing to work with! She treated my young puppy as if he were hers. She gave him patience, love, and attention - all things I was concerned about given my puppy's high energy and other needs. She responded promptly, was always on time, and was respectful of my circumstances and my puppy's needs. This was my first time leaving my puppy behind, my first time using a dog sitter, and my first time using Rover. I now feel comfortable leaving him in Alaijaz's capable and dependable hands and will unquestionably reach out to her in the future. I highly recommend Alaijaz and Rover!

Megan is truly a delight to work with and I feel so grateful to have her in my puppy’s life. She is helpful with puppy training and thoughtful about her interactions and commentary with him each visit. She has helped reenforce puppy training and given great advice when we needed help or had questions. Mango looks forward to Megan each visit, and I am always confident he is in good hands. Thank you Megan!!

First, I would like to say I have never left my dog, Halen, with anyone but family. I struggled when I joined Rover to find just the right person to take care of her for a few days. Irene was the perfect find to take care of Halen. She scheduled a meet and greet with me where she could get to know Halen and her behavior patterns. She asked just the right questions and put me at ease immediately for the time I was away she showed up on time and provided updates. Most all of the updates showed a picture of Halen smiling. She also taught her some new commands. I’m so glad that I have found the dog walker that I will continue to use and that I feel understands my dog.
