About: I have done house sitting with dogs. In the past I had cats and dogs as pets. I have also done jobs such as camp counselor, swim instructor, healthcare worker, babysitting. My apartment community also has a large grassy area that’s perfect for walks, potty breaks, and exercise throughout the day. I’ll follow your pet’s usual feeding schedule, provide fresh water, plenty of playtime, cuddles, and a safe, clean environment to help them feel comfortable and at home. My goal is to make their stay as stress-free, fun, and loving as possible while you’re away.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and am a huge dog lover. As I have yet to get a pup of my own, I’ve been sitting for family, friends, and family friends for more than 5 years, where I mainly housesit. I’ve had experience watching dogs of all ages, from grumpy seniors with medication to lively puppies who need extra clean up time, to anxious Covid babies. I am very detail-oriented as I respect that each dog has their personal routine and want to ensure that not much is disrupted for them when I visit/stay. I understand the importance of keeping in contact with owners (only to the extent that you wish to be contacted) throughout the day. I guarantee that I will take plenty of photos of your pet and will be happy to share them! Note: I am based in LES, NYC for the summer. I work fully remotely, so I'm flexible to working with your pet's schedule when housesitting. I'm available for afternoon walks, or to come to housesit from the evenings usually. I'm also willing to travel to housesit (I've travelled to DC before!), though this would require travel coverage as part of compensation. ***For house sits of 1 week or longer, I ask owners to support in covering my meals. Gift cards or a stocked fridge are very much appreciated! *** I tend to ask clients for a document with their pet's daily routine, and how their behaviours are. I will care for your pets as you would advise to care for them in order to maintain consistency and not confuse them. Afterall, I am the guest in staying in their space should I be housesitting. For walks and drop-ins, I would like to also respect your pet's routine and ensure that they are comfortable and at ease.

About: I have over 7 years of experience working with and caring for multiple breeds of dogs, from volunteering at a rescue to working at the MCSPCA. I am currently working part time, as well as volunteering at a rescue weekly. I would love for my days off to be spent caring for animals. I am always very careful when caring for any pet. Especially in a clients home, making sure doors are always closed so a pet cannot get out. If in a yard, checking any gates and keeping an eye on the pet at all times. With years of experience in animal shelters, I am very familiar with canine body language as well as handling.

About: I've taken care of puppies and adult dogs of my friends and family for over 8 years and counting. I love training, walking/hiking, and taking my dog to the dog park. I currently work from home full time so I am able to provide daily walks to your fur baby. I also have a very friendly and social ShihPoo that loves any furry friend that comes to stay overnight or spend the day with us. I have a large apartment, in a multifamily house I share with my mother, with access to a fenced in backyard. I make it a priority to walk my dogs and either take them to the park or trail to give them a change of scenery (weather permitting). On very cold, rainy, or snowy days I make sure to give my dogs activites and attention. I will crate, if asked, but usually when I petsit I let the furbabies free roam. I work from home full time so I am able to spend the whole day with your pup and tend to their needs (walking, potty, playing, feeding etc.) In my home, I have a roam free environment however if a dog requires separation or crating I have a second bedroom. I also have a fenced yard for quick potty time.

About: I've been walking dogs since I was 15 years old, when I built my own client base doing walks and drop-in visits for families while they were away. That early experience taught me how to read a dog's personality fast and earn their trust from day one. Since then, I worked as a receptionist at a veterinary clinic, where I learned a lot about dogs' medical needs — from spotting early signs something's off to understanding how to safely support pets with health conditions. I'm excited to get back to hands-on care and bring both my years of walking experience and my vet clinic knowledge to your pup. I'm off consistently on Tuesdays and Saturdays, so I have full flexibility those days for walks, drop-ins, or sitting. On the days I do work, my schedule can vary, but I'm reliably free by 5 pm at the latest — often earlier. I get my work schedule 3 weeks in advance, so I can confirm exact availability early and plan around recurring bookings easily. I keep a calm, consistent routine so pets feel comfortable whether we're in my home or theirs — sticking to their regular feeding times, bathroom breaks, and playtime. I'm comfortable administering basic medications, having done so for my own dog in the past, and my vet clinic background means I know how to recognize signs of illness or distress and when something needs extra attention. I'm also good at reading individual personalities and take extra care with shy or nervous dogs, since my own dog was the same way — I know how to build trust at their pace. About: I have had dogs all my life. I'm retired and the best way to spend my time is with dogs. I also have experience grooming dogs: wired-haired breeds are my specialty - I do stripping). I'm pretty much available any day / time. Afternoons and nights are best, but don't worry, I have your dog covered based on your needs. My current dog is an English Bull Terrier (Spuds MacKenzie or the Target dog). I have a fenced yard and but also take her (Daisy) on short/long walks daily. I can likewise walk / play with you dog as you wish. I have also taken/passed the NJ Animal Control Officer course/exam.
