“Sam took very excellent care of my 5 cats and dog while I had an emergency and needed her last minute. She was very flexible and accommodating. I got tons of updates which made me feel very assured my fur babies were in excellent care while I was at the hospital with my baby. It was also a holiday and she was available. She was upfront about her kiddos coming, which was no problem. I was amazed there was no mess or anything. She cleaned up all dishes, took trash out and watered my plants. I had a week long stay at the hospital, I even asked if she would change my sheets and she did this for me. I was so blessed to find her and will always use her if she is available if I need a pet sitter. She even left a little goodie bag with a neat ink pen and some bracelets my daughter will not take off and loves! I’ve had pet sitters before that would just lock the dog out of my room and not interact with Sadie but Sam sent lots of videos/pictures of all my animals. We are home now and Sadie is so happy, it great condition and sleeping so soundly cause they gave her lots of exercise. 10/10 will book Sam again.”

While I'm caring for your fur babies, I'm happy to keep up with their usual routine, whether that's daily walks, trips to the dog park, or anything else that helps them feel comfortable and at home. When caring for pets in your home, I treat your space and your pets with the same respect I'd give my own. I follow your pet's routine for feeding, walks, playtime, and medication, and I always double-check that doors, gates, and windows are secure so no one slips out. I keep dogs leashed on walks, supervise any time outside, and make sure fresh water is always available. If your pet stays with me, I start with a meet and greet so everyone can get comfortable before the stay. My German Shepherd and Siberian Husky are very friendly with other dogs, and I introduce new pups slowly and supervise all playtime to keep things safe and relaxed. I also have a fully fenced yard where pets can run and play safely. Your pet will get the same attention, structure, and love that my own dogs do. Either way, I'll send regular updates with photos so you can see how your fur babies are doing while you're away. If anything unexpected comes up, I'll contact you right away and follow your emergency and vet instructions.

About: Hi! I’m Gabriel, a veteran, teacher, and lifelong animal lover with plenty of experience caring for dogs. I’m dependable, attentive, and treat every pet like my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. I live in an apartment but only board one dog at a time, so your pet gets plenty of individual attention. I’m very active and enjoy long walks, and there’s a dog park nearby where I can take your dog to run and play. As a teacher in a year-round district, I also have extended breaks when I’m available for full-time pet care, which works well for longer trips or vacations. I look forward to giving your pet great care and giving you peace of mind. I’m available to board most weekends and especially during my school breaks since I work on a year-round schedule. On workdays I’m off by 3:00 PM, which allows me to stop by homes in the afternoon and evening to care for pets. My Home: I have one dog named Libby who can keep your pup company. I only take one additional dog at a time, so your pet will receive plenty of individual attention. I also live near the Cape Fear River Trail and walk it regularly, so your dog will get plenty of outdoor time and exercise. Client’s Home: When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m respectful, attentive, and professional. I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully to make sure your pet stays comfortable and in their normal routine.

“THE ABSOLUTE BEST! That is where I start. We had to book him in a pinch and we were able to get a meet and greet in with Khalil and our 3(65# plus) dogs. The meet and greet went great and he showed up on time 3 days later. We received photos every single day. He stayed in our home and was able to keep them entertained while there. The photos we received they were always looking happy. We were gone for 10 days and when we came back it was like we had just left with the house being clean. Khalil stayed in our guest room. We didn't ask him to but he took the sheets off of the bed and put them in the laundry room. The dishes he had used were put in the dishwasher. Main thing was to take care of our dogs and he went above and beyond on that! We will absolutely recommend Khalil to anyone and everyone looking for short and long term stays. Khalil was very responsive. We will be going back to him when we have to be out of town again. Khalil made it so easy to trust that they would be in good hands and taken care of the entire time. I could go on and on. An overall phenomenal experience.”

About: My parents realized I needed a dog in my life when I was child because I would try to pet my fish... ;) As a family we've had dogs since I was around 6 years old. I began dog-sitting for a neighbor when I was in middle school and that included helping care for two puppies when I was a bit older. Over the last few years my petsitting/housesitting relationships have steadily increased. I've helped friends by caring for their puppies, dogs, senior dogs, kittens, cats, and even a bird! I'm familiar with many different types of leashes, halters, Gentle Leader, even muzzles and am confident in using any your dog may utilize. I am also happy to crate your puppy/dog if needed.

I am skilled in recognizing behavioral cues, maintaining routines, and ensuring their physical and emotional well-being. Whether it's daily walks, training sessions, or providing companionship, I prioritize creating a safe and loving environment for dogs. I’m currently in school and have a very flexible schedule. I have 7 days a week availability. Monday 12-4pm are the only hours I will not be able to provide a service. I have a fenced in yard and plenty of room for our pets to run around. I have one older dog and a small cat. I have extra bedrooms to provide plenty of space for a safe and clean environment.

About: My father owned a pet care business in New Jersey but now that I've moved to North Carolina I'm ready to continue doing what I love by myself. I plan on making this my full time job, I currently work remote so I am free any time of the day any day of the week 😁. My care is fully respectful of my clients wishes, pets will never be over or under fed, they will have plenty of exercise and play time and the house will always be clean when I'm done.
