I have some hands-on experience as a veterinary technician, giving me valuable skills in animal health and behavior. I’ve grown up with pets of all kinds from dogs and cats to reptiles and small mammals—and have been their primary caregiver throughout my life. My husband and I today have 5 cats, a black lab, a few reptiles, and are new to the chicken game! Currently, I’m pursuing a degree in zoology, which deepens my understanding of animal biology, welfare, and behavior. More fun facts about me! - I love turtles so much that those in my close circle still call me by my childhood nickname “TG” aka “Turtle Girl.” - I can’t leave the house unless I’ve said bye to each of our pets. - My husband says I’m a Disney princess because animals always find me. As a part-time worker, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide attentive care for pets in the early mornings and evenings. This is perfect for feeding, walks, playtime, medication, or just some quality companionship at the times pets need it most.
