I’m happy to administer medications as directed, follow special feeding instructions, and accommodate senior pets or those with medical needs. I always pay close attention to a pet’s behavior and well-being and will let you know immediately if I notice anything concerning. I am totally okay with sending photo and video updates so you can see how your pet is doing. Whether your pet loves to play, cuddle, go for walks, or simply have someone sit quietly with them, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for until you return. :)) At this time, I primarily provide care in my clients’ homes to help pets stay comfortable in their familiar environment. I may also be able to care for small caged pets in my home on a case-by-case basis.
About: I have been a dog lover my entire life and have cared for dogs since I was about 10 years old. I’ve had the privilege of having many different breeds and mixed breeds as part of my family, so I have a lot of varied experience. You can count on me for happy paws and lots of tail wags! I am available to walk or drop in on your dog during the day on weekdays! The hours would be between 9-12:30 Monday through Thursday. We currently have a chocolate lab who is 8 years old and is such a sweetheart. She loves to play fetch in our backyard and go on walks with the family. About: I've been around dogs all my life. My grandparents were breeders for Scotties, Cocker Spaniels and Terriers. My personal pets have been Velvet a cooker spaniel, Tobby a shepherd/lab mix, Doobee a shepherd/collie mix and my current cohort is Harley a 50 lb mixed breed rescue from texas. I have completed over 18 months of weekly training with Harley culminating with AKC canine good citizen certificate. What i learned from that experience was the importance and significance of consistency. Additionally that I am trained to be as consistent as possible in providing the type of care that you prefer for your pet. I'm retired so I am usually available anytime and can do same day appointments. I'm usually up before 6am and keep late night hours also so please feel free to contact me anytime.
