“Brooke is really great with dogs! Boone seems to really like her. She sent us pictures of him throughout the day and was very responsive when we had a question. She’s flexible with your schedule and needs and does a lot to accommodate your pups needs. She slept with our pup each night.”

About: Hi, I’m Kimberly! Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them isn’t just my job—it’s something I truly enjoy. I have 8 years of pet care experience working with dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and other small animals, and I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family. I’m fully pet care insured, giving you extra peace of mind while you’re away. Whether your pet needs drop-in visits, overnight care, walks, feeding, medication administration, playtime, or lots of love and attention, I’m committed to providing dependable, compassionate care tailored to their individual needs and routine. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets and home. My goal is to keep your pets happy, comfortable, and stress-free while keeping you updated with photos and messages throughout each visit. Whether your furry, feathered, or scaly family member needs care for a weekend or an extended trip, I’d love the opportunity to help. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! I’m currently unemployed, so I’m always home, I always have time for playing with and cuddling with your pets! They will always be exhausted and loved I would prefer to do an overnight in your home as to not stress your pets out too much! They will be very cared for
“HIGHLY recommend Kassie! We is winderful. She took excellent care of our cats, dogs, chickens, and our home while we were away. Everything was well taken care of, and we came home to happy pets and a clean, cared-for house. She was responsible, communicative, and clearly treated our animals like her own. We would absolutely have her house sit for us again and highly recommend her!”
About: I've had multiple dogs throughout growing up and have pets it a few times with my older sister when I was younger, I've helped take care of newborn puppies till mature and taken cars of my childhood dog Charlie since I was around 10 years old till currently at 20! I know how to bathe them if needed and love to cuddle with them if they want to! I'm currently working part time majority of the week but small shifts so evenings and early mornings are primarily available, but I also am working a flexible job that I adjust around and switch times to make it suitable for you and me! If I was in your home taking care of your animals, I would feed them your specified diet in whatever time blocks needed, along with water. I'd take them outside to go the bathroom and walks around the premises to get some energy out, if any potty incidents were to happen I would throughly clean it up and dispose properly, and make sure to give them plenty of attention, treats, and cuddles!
“Jazmine was absolutely amazing the Dexter and Zuna. She kept me up to date with photos and videos. With us coming home late she was so kind and left lights on for us so we wouldn't walk in in dark. I will definitely book with here again”

About: I’m a newly Certified Vet assistant who deeply loves caring for pets! I’m also certified in Diet and Nutrition as well as Pet CPR. Taking care of animals has always been my biggest passion! I’m currently working part time so this leaves room to be attentive and in the moment while caring for your pets while still leaving room for certain all day/ over night needs as well as just drop ins. I have two friendly female medium/ large dogs. We have a fenced in back yard with lots of space to play. We would love to have your pet over!
“Miriam was an attentive overnight sitter for my two senior pups. Provided lots of pictures and videos and kept me up to date on their meals! Will book her again next out of town trip!”

“What a wonderful person. So eager to care for the biggest baby/needy pets around. My fur babies took to her right away. There for me even with an unexpected obligation. I look forward to having her as my go-to for my pet setter.”

“Aja was absolutely amazing and by far and away the best dog sitter we have ever had. Her professionalism, attentiveness, and attention to instructions is something we should all strive for in our respective fields. My wife and I had absolutely zero concerns about the well-being of our doggos with Aja, which made for that much more enjoyable of a trip for us knowing they were in the absolute best hands. 10/10 WILL book again.”

About: I've been caring for all types of animals since i was 12 years old. I've trained dogs such as German Shepherds and Pitbulls, and have experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages and sizes. I currently have the pleasure of loving 2 of my own special needs cats and a large tarantula. As well as this, my previous employment was a small pet care business in Georgia providing drop in visits for feeding, playtime and potty breaks, overnight sitting, walks, extended stays and taking care of exotic animals like birds. Throughout my life I've personally owned a snake, rabbit, hamsters, cats, dogs, spiders, moths and a bird! I'm looking forward to be an extra loving hand for your pets! I'm currently a full-time pet carer, caring for my special needs cats and others' lovely pets. I have plenty of time to care for your beloved fur babies and understand the ever-changing pace of life with pets, and am happy to accommodate. Any timeframe and any day, you can count on me to be reliable! Every pet parent is different and we all like specifics when it comes to the pets we love, so I always like to discuss with you about what you'd like done regarding crating, backyard time, car rides or park visits and waste disposal. I NEVER use punishment on any pet, and instead prefer a positive reinforcement only approach. I would like to be aware of your pets' allergies, triggers, injuries and fears so I can provide the best experience for them and for you!
“Courtney was phenomenal! She took care of my dogs just like I would. She sent daily updates with pics and videos! I appreciate how kind she was to my sassy old dogs. lol”

About: I have had dog pets most of my life. My fur baby recently passed and I would rather love others than get another. Pets are the treasures of the planet! I'm currently working full-time and looking for something to fill my spare time. No better way then to spend it with pets. I am available all days with flexible times. My home is on a large piece of property and has fences from bordering properties, but is not fully enclosed. However, no pets will be outside unsupervised. In order to keep your pets safe I would leash walk them.
About: I’ve been a volunteer with my local humane society for 10 years. I’ve also fostered many animals including cats, dogs, small animals and reptiles. I love going above and beyond for all my clients and will always be there when needed. It would be a privilege to be able to take care of your fur baby! I work 3 days a week during nights at a hospital, so during all days I’m free to care for your fur babies. I also am on a shift schedule where I get 6 days off in a row every other week, which makes my schedule very flexible. I have a 2 acre yard that your fur babies can play in. I also have a very friendly German Husky who loves to play with other animals. She is dog and cat friendly. I am able to crate your fur baby if they are used to that, or they may free roam my home.
About: I have had my doggy since I was 17! She has been with me through a lot! I love animals and enjoy meeting new ones and bonding with them! Sometimes I have a really flexible schedule and can work with whatever your schedule needs may be. My schedule can change from week to week. So it’s best to reach out. I typically am free most days during the day. Late nights can be arranged. Child free home. I have 1 dog and 1 cat. The cat will be separate from other animals. She likes to stay in her space.
“Haley stayed with our two pups this Christmas Eve while we were out of town. She was very friendly, communicative and arrived for drop in visits and the overnight stay as agreed upon. She sent pics today and our dogs looked very content with her. We will definitely be using her the next time we need a sitter.”

“Met Kaylee before the dog sitting. For her to meet the dogs. Kaylee was very good with meeting the dogs and understanding expectations. Kaylee is responsible. This young lady has good life experience. At first met with the dogs they settled right in with her. I’ll use her again.”
About: I’ve taken care of many animals throughout my life. I am good with them I know basic care and are able to handle cats and dogs! I will be doing a dentist program soon. I am able to care for animals nightly and during weekends! Daily if able to do so. I have a big fenced yard. I have two dogs that love to play! I can definitely crate if needed and also help them get warmed up!
About: My parents realized I needed a dog in my life when I was child because I would try to pet my fish... ;) As a family we've had dogs since I was around 6 years old. I began dog-sitting for a neighbor when I was in middle school and that included helping care for two puppies when I was a bit older. Over the last few years my petsitting/housesitting relationships have steadily increased. I've helped friends by caring for their puppies, dogs, senior dogs, kittens, cats, and even a bird! Before I moved to NC I had keys for about 5 friends' homes since I am on standby for pet-sitting duties when they go out of town. My boyfriend and I are the proud parents of 1 dog, 2 cats, and 21 quail chicks! I am currently working 8:30am-5:00pm Monday-Friday in Holly Springs but hope my schedule works to care for your fur babies! I am typically very flexible during weekends. As someone who had an escape artist dog growing up I know the importance of safety, including keeping doors closed. I'm familiar with many different types of leashes, halters, Gentle Leader, even muzzles and am confident in using any your dog may utilize. I am also happy to crate your puppy/dog if needed.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of August 2026, there are 621 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Spiveys Corner. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Spiveys Corner walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Spiveys Corner maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Spiveys Corner choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Spiveys Corner. On Rover:
- 89% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 95% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
