About: Having had dogs since I was born, and my entire life, I've always been the one in my family to teach them (sit, speak, paw, spin) and care for them when no one else is home. I have cared for a range of dog and cat breeds from when they were babies to in their old age. I hope to care for your animals too. I have a dog, I care for it everyday, and I am currently (June 2026) fostering another dog for a couple of weeks while its owner recovers from surgery. I take them on walks daily and play outside with them. We watch tv and sometimes I read to them (it doesn’t last, they get bored of it). As an owner of a dog with a chicken allergy I can understand specific needs, I prefer a more lax and chilled environment and my energy usually gets pets to follow.

I have never been with out a dog or two of my own for 18 years. I have trained my own dogs and will love yours as my own. I am also pet CPR and first aid and Animal psychology certified. *Ask about nail grinding that I can perform. I am currently working part time and can be flexible around your schedule. I have friendly dogs of my own that could play and exercise others or I can give your dogs one on one time. I am flexible to come to your home to your pets to let them out, walks and feedings. I will follow all of your directions and care instructions.

“Laura was an absolute delight to work with! My dog instantly loved her and even whined a little bit after she left our house at the end of our meet and greet, which she rarely does with anyone except my husband and I. I'm a very anxious person in general, and most of that anxiety is centered around my dog's well-being; Laura was able to make some of that anxiety go away and that means the world to me. My dog had a wonderful, chill night with Laura caring for her at my house! She was extremely attentive to notes that I left regarding my dog's unique feeding routine and as-needed medication. Laura also somehow found a way to get my dog to pose for photos (my dog almost never sits still enough to let me take pictures of her 😂) and sent us many pictures of her throughout our time away from home! I would recommend Laura to anyone, especially those with dogs who have food/medication/health concerns! We will definitely be booking with her again if anything comes up! 😊”
