About: Hi I'm Katie! Also known as that British lady! I have owned dogs my entire life, usually always two at a time. I currently have one of my own after losing three elderly dogs in the last few years. I now only have Ernie a chihuahua cross i rescued from Kansas in 2017. I've had experience with various breeds and fostered ex racer greyhounds for a while in the U.K. I also have two indoor/outdoor cats I rescued as kittens from local feral cat litters. I finish work for the Summer in June and can offer drop in services up to three times a day for dogs, cats and smaller furries if you live in the local area, Maple Falls etc. These can be whilst you’re at work to give your beloved pet a potty break or they can be for longer stretches of time while you vacation so you can feel secure your dogs are in their own home safe and comfortable. I can also board dogs in my own home from all over Whatcom county if they are dog/cat/responsible kid friendly. I have a fenced in yard and a very dog friendly house! I finish work for the summer in June and have a lot of availability for both walks, drop ins and boarding! From June 12th my schedule really opens up! I have a fenced yard and a dog friendly home. I have two dog friendly cats who are indoor and outdoor and tolerated living with four dogs and two kids. Dogs are allowed on my sofa and bed but only if you allow that at home… I don’t want to create bad habits!

About: I’ve had dogs of my own since middle school and have lots of experience with different temperaments and personalities! Most of my experience is with large and extra large dogs. I have my own dog that could use a friend! He is a high-energy lab that loves to play and run! There has never been a dog that he hasn’t enjoyed, but because he is big and high-energy, he can be overwhelming for some dogs. If your dog is small, unfriendly, or nervous, this might not be the right match for you. If your dog is medium-giant (his best friend is a shy Great Dane), energetic, friendly, or even slightly psychotic as most high-energy dogs are, I got you! My schedule is very flexible so please don’t hesitate to reach out, even if Rover says I am not available during the times you need! I work from home for one job and am a substitute for my other job, so I can adjust my schedule according to your dog’s needs! I have a car to transport dogs if needed, but I would prefer drop-offs. Dogs get lots of attention and walks! We have lots of fields nearby for fetch and playing, and there is also a trail that leads to a creek for swimming. I have a fenced backyard, but unfortunately half of it is blocked off right now so my gardens can be safe from digging pups and zoomies. There is still room to run and play! I also have a dog pool and a sprinkler for dogs to cool off in (when it’s hot). I have a 2 year old lab at home that loves to play and is super friendly!

About: I’ve been enamored with animals my entire life. They add an element of joy and peace that nothing else has come close to. As a child I dedicated all of my time and allowance to my eclectic hobby farm complete with goats, chickens, ducks, numerous dogs and cats, rabbits, fish, birds and eventually horses. About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a child. I love spending time with them. I now have more time on my hands and would love to spend it caring for dogs who need some TLC. I had a senior pug who sadly rent over the rainbow bridge last year. The last few years she was with me, I had to give her medication, take care of her eyes and give her a special diet. I also had a lab who developed cancer and needed medication and a special diet. I feel I would be a perfect person to care for special needs dogs. I am retired so I have time to care for your pet from my home with frequent walks and/or bathroom breaks around our 5 acre property. I live on 5 acres. I do not have a fenced yard but take multiple walks throughout the day so your dog would be safely walked on a leash.

From draft horses to cattle to chinchillas to fish to llamas to birds and bunny rabbits - I have worked with many types of animals. With dogs, I have cared for and train dogs from dachshunds to Great Pyrenees and so many breeds in between. I have worked with animals for over 15 years time as a caretaker. I volunteer at an animal shelter where I get to work with lots of different breeds. I have experience working with dogs which need a little bit of extra help on their manners or that have come from an abusive situation, creating a calm and trusting atmosphere for them where they can thrive. I find that not just do I love spending time with animals but that I grow as a person working with them. I am also available for pet sitting of animals other then dogs, as well. About: I absolutely adore animals, especially dogs. I love training them and being with them. I consider myself to have a lot of patience and understanding with dogs and I do well with all sorts of pups, including overreactive, high-energy, and loud ones. I work full time as a behavioral caregiver for developmentally disabled adults, and currently my work schedule is a little inconsistent, however I am committed to keeping my schedule updated two weeks in advance so that booking is seamless and easy. I currently am unable to care for pets in my own home but I am happy to stay with animals as long as needed. I have a car and I am happy to transport to dog parks, or just walk around neighborhoods.
