About: While I'm more used to cats, I do also love dogs. Have a dog with separation anxiety? I can keep them company for a while! I will be working part-time Monday-Friday from 2 pm to 6 pm. I will be available to watch your pets from 9:30 am-1:30 pm on those days (despite what options this site gave). On Saturdays and Sundays I'll be available from 3 pm-8 pm. If I am unable to watch a pet at any time, I will let you know ahead of time by at least a few days. I currently own a cat, Higgins, who is a big lovebug and fairly food motivated. I've been in charge of feeding him breakfast and dinner since we rescued him in 2015, along with scooping his litterbox. He's also needed nightly medication for some stomach issues, so I have experience giving him a pill. I can feed your pet, clean up after them whether they have a set schedule or not, and provide medication if necessary.

About: I’m reducing my current job schedule to part time as a mental health therapist in order to engage in my passions. With this in mind, I would love to direct my empathy, patience, and connection towards any animal(s). I currently own 3 cats and would want nothing but the best for them if I were to be away and so I will use this as my guide when keeping care of your pets. I have been around animals most of my life and have taken care of dogs, and cats primarily for family, friends, and strangers throughout my career experience. This is my first time on an app so please feel free to ask any other questions as it is welcomed! I’m currently working part time with a flexible schedule so I would like to say I am very flexible and can work with most schedules at this time. I live by treating others the way you want to be treated, so if I am at someone else’s home, I will be respectful on the space and property. I will be taking care of and treating your animals as if they are mine and will make sure to bring them some comfort while they’re guardian(s) are away!

About: I’m knowledgeable in breed-specific needs and maintain consistency to keep them mentally and physically happy! I have previously taken dog behavior courses and am familiar with dog body language. I have worked with dogs of all sizes and ages! No dog is “too much!” I am comfortable with administering medications and providing grooming for long haired/high maintenance breeds. I have worked with puppies all the way up to senior dogs so I am comfortable handling all ages. I have a full-time job but am more than happy to fit time in to take care of your lovely fur baby. My typical shift is 8:00-4:30pm M-F. I have open availability on weekends to provide housesitting! If you are looking for constant care (pet cannot be left alone for 4 hours or more), I am happy to provide that however, I do charge a constant care rate if during the work week as I will need to take those days off and I will need to recoup lost salary. For constant care pets, I do require at least a month’s notice ahead of time so I can get that time off to accommodate. I will never take a sit if my work schedule cannot accommodate it—your pet’s care and safety is extremely important to me. I will work with you to decide if I am the right fit for your pet’s needs and routine. Nothing is worse than upsetting your pet’s routine and comfortability! I now offer drop-visits as well! This is great for people who might need someone to check in your fur baby a couple times a day but does not need around-the-clock needs. I am happy to drop in before work (8am) and can drop by after work! If you’re someone who works longer shifts, this is perfect for you! I am comfortable crating your pet if requested but they are also more than welcome to share a bed with me if they are used to sleeping with you! If you have an unfenced yard, I will keep them on leash at all times. If you have a fenced yard, I will stay out and monitor them until they are ready to come inside. Doors will be locked at all times whether I am in the home with your pet or if I’m at work. If you have any home-alarm systems, I will use them as well.

About: I grew up in a 6 cat household at one point, so I have the most experience working with cats, however I've cared for many family members dogs while they are away, such as my sister's very active 5 year old, blue heeler mix (Sora) that she has had since 2021. I am comfortable caring for, feeding, playing, and walking small to medium dogs. My schedule is pretty flexible and open at the moment as I am studying to take a board certified exam and applying to future positions within my field. I can assist in early mornings, midday or in the evenings. Unfortunately since I have two cats at home, I am unable to board other animals at our location. I am flexible and adaptive to caring for your pets in your home for drop in visits, depending on their discussed needs.

About: My whole life my parents have had dogs so I’ve grown up around dogs since I was an infant, this also means that they’ve had quite a few different puppies over the years and I have helped train them. I am the go to person for all of my friends and family. If they need someone to watch their pets while they’re gone I absolutely love seeing their animals and taking care of them and I treat everyone’s animals as if they’re my own and do the things that I would want others to do for my pets. During the school year, I work as a teaching assistant at an elementary school. This means that my summers are very open and free to watch others pets and give them plenty of love and attention. I care for pets in others homes as if they were my own pet, I will make sure to play with them and feed them and get them outside, but also just cuddle them if they like that and give them the space if they also would prefer that.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 8, when I got my own puppy. With my family i have 2 dogs, a Beagle and a Puggle. Growing up, I also had a Yellow Lab. I have pet sat multiple times in the past few years, both overnight and daily check ins. I love dogs of all ages, breeds, and sizes, and treat all dogs I encounter as if they were my own. I have a very open schedule that allows for me to pet sit at any time throughout the day, and any day of the week. I would not be able to care for pets in my own home, only in client’s homes. I am willing to fulfill whatever needs are presented by each pet, whether that be getting to know them slowly to allow them to build trust, snuggling with them so they aren’t lonely while their owners are gone, or any other needs they may have.

I have been on Rover for a few years now and have experienced alot so far but I am sure that I will still get a surprise here and there! I try to take all surprises with grace and just learn from them! We have: bones, hard yak cheese sticks, frisbee, balls, soft stuffy toys, rope toys, bubble machine, dog pool and pounce sprinkler, lick mats, sniff mats, puzzle toys, we do some arts and crafts (typically on or near holidays), homemade frozen enrichment bowls, if you request a bath for your dog I have multiple deshedding tools. Blankets, crates, extra bowls and diapers if needed. I am investing a lot into my doggy business. I recently made a small indoor gated area that has mats layed down for optimal comfort during indoor play and sleeping. I am in the process of creating an additional fenced in area in my yard that will feature a sand pit for those that love to dig, turf grass to contain the mud and a climbing feature for king of the hill! I can give your dog the patience it may need for basic training along with draining out some of the coopt up energy so they can listen better! Training in wee hours doesnt bother me at all and can even be fun. I have kids that are not rough or overly involved with animals and that also know some basic training. Any medication or special request can also be discussed and accommodated. Any questions just feel free to ask. Thanks for reading and considering me for your fur baby. I currently work from home so am pretty flexible when it comes to accommodating what works best for my pet parents! My mom is also very helpful in the chance that I do leave home, she resides with me! I have a decent sized fenced backyard for being in the city. We love to play fetch and run perimeter. Inside we like to use our indoor manners. Typically all of the dogs sleep together with blankets and cushions that I provide in a space that is about 10x10. I do have crates to utilize if it is the pet parents preference or if we have concerns with potty or chewing issues (I may utilize a doggy diaper when in doors if your dog marks inside) . Some dogs do get to sleep in a separate space from other dogs or in a room with one of my kids if that is where they feel the most comfortable and behave the best.

About: I’m Kourtni! I’m looking for a part time commitment taking care of your pet! I am new to Rover but I frequently watch friends pets. My whole life, animals have loved me. They’ve always preferred me over others. I’m great with dogs, cats, and small animals. I live in a manufactured home park, so I frequently can take your pet on walks and by the river with little to no traffic. I stock up on treats. I can administer medication to your pet. I’m not claiming to know everything there is to know about animals, all I know is I love them and care for them well and they love me! If you think I’d be a good fit for your animal please get ahold of me. :) As of 12/27/22: I am now only taking house sitting clients that are okay with me bringing my pet as well. He is potty trained, listens very well and has never been around a dog he doesn’t like. I’m an independent contractor and run my own small business, so I make my own schedule with my typical work life. Therefore, I can usually work around different schedules depending on every animals different needs. My pet is alone usually around 6 hours per day. I usually give him some snacks to keep him occupied. I do not have a fenced yard currently but hoping to at some point. Living in a park, I keep my dog on a 40 ft in ground leash, but while dog sitting I usually take the other dogs out on their walk leash.

They have the sweetest souls and biggest hearts and I wouldn’t treat them any other way. I have one dog and I was raised with 3 dogs and 2 cats. I have always been an animal lover and I always will be. Every day I take my dog on at least one walk and many times I walk him multiple times per day. I treat my fur babies like family and how I would want to be treated. I am not only here to help you during your busy schedule but to become a friend to you and your fur baby. To house sit during longer durations, I can travel to anywhere. About: I have been around dogs my whole life. I have helped family and friends by watching their animals while they are gone. I enjoy spending time with animals. I work full time. I had my last beloved Westie Terrier for 16 years and since have really missed having a dog to look after and bring joy to my home.
