About: I grew up with dogs and adopted my first after leaving home, and within 2 years adopted my second. Since the first two I have chosen to adopt senior dogs and spoil them for however many years I have with them. My current is a Pomeranian named Lucy who is @ 16 years old. She has developed adult onset Diabetes and she requires 2 injections of Ventsulin daily. I am retired and am happy to work with you and your schedule as best I can. It is my goal to make your departure as easy on your pet as possible. I have a fenced in backyard and because of Lucy’s advanced age I had a ramp built for her to access the yard from the deck. I have cared for cats (some kept in at all times and others allowed to go outside) and dogs who require at least 2 walks a day.

About: I’m knowledgeable in breed-specific needs and maintain consistency to keep them mentally and physically happy! I have previously taken dog behavior courses and am familiar with dog body language. I have worked with dogs of all sizes and ages! No dog is “too much!” I am comfortable with administering medications and providing grooming for long haired/high maintenance breeds. I have worked with puppies all the way up to senior dogs so I am comfortable handling all ages. I have a full-time job but am more than happy to fit time in to take care of your lovely fur baby. My typical shift is 8:00-4:30pm M-F. I have open availability on weekends to provide housesitting! If you are looking for constant care (pet cannot be left alone for 4 hours or more), I am happy to provide that however, I do charge a constant care rate if during the work week as I will need to take those days off and I will need to recoup lost salary. For constant care pets, I do require at least a month’s notice ahead of time so I can get that time off to accommodate. I will never take a sit if my work schedule cannot accommodate it—your pet’s care and safety is extremely important to me. I will work with you to decide if I am the right fit for your pet’s needs and routine. Nothing is worse than upsetting your pet’s routine and comfortability! I now offer drop-visits as well! This is great for people who might need someone to check in your fur baby a couple times a day but does not need around-the-clock needs. I am happy to drop in before work (8am) and can drop by after work! If you’re someone who works longer shifts, this is perfect for you! I am comfortable crating your pet if requested but they are also more than welcome to share a bed with me if they are used to sleeping with you! If you have an unfenced yard, I will keep them on leash at all times. If you have a fenced yard, I will stay out and monitor them until they are ready to come inside. Doors will be locked at all times whether I am in the home with your pet or if I’m at work. If you have any home-alarm systems, I will use them as well.

About: I currently have 4 dogs and 1 cat of my own and love helping care for other animals. I have experience with high energy dogs, as well as senior cats and dogs. I am now a young 40 something mom and professional who has had pets my entire life! I LOVE animals! I am typically available to provide care in the evenings and weekends, sometimes at lunchtime depending on location, and for extended vacation stays. I only care for other pets in their own homes so I take guidance from you and your pet. Tell me what preferences you have and what your pet's routine is and I will follow that. :)

About: What sets me aside from the average sitter is I don't just think of your animals as just your pet but as your own human kid. I treat it as it's equal and deserves my eyes and not my phones camera lens. Your pet, and everyone's pet human child deserves a fresh mind. I can help them even achieve any goals/tricks. I'll come with a handful of treats ready to start our day. Pet Care fits in my routine by a breeze. I'm a stay at home mom of 2. I wake up early prepare breakfast, pack lunches, get them ready and off to school they go. I get home do a little morning clean up as I do that I can easily exercise and play with your pet. After the morning clean up (which can always wait till later) I'm ready for your pet and Mine's adventure. At my home I have a fenced in yard, that's a decent size for small or large pets. I am close to dog friendly walking parks/trails. My neighborhood has a sidewalk that wraps around the block so its a nice for morning stroll.

About: I have taken care of pets since I was 10 years old! I have owned several German Shepards and cats. I have my own puppy, he is a rescue Husky from the shelter. So, I am very familiar with puppy tendencies and home training! My family dog, is now quite old so I have also been learning to care for senior dogs and their unique needs as well! I am very active and outgoing and truly enjoy spending time with all animals. I would love to watch and care for you pets! I just recently graduated from Michigan State University and I am studying and applying to law school this fall! I am pretty flexible so feel free to reach out any time! I am not offering any dog watching/sitting out of my own home. Although, any time a pet is in my care, I will look after it as my own!

About: As a kid i’ve always been surrounded by animals, all kinds! I’ve worked with dogs learning how to shake, sit and lay! I’ve dog sat for multiple families and friends and have extended experience. I’ve also volunteered since middleschool to help animals on the streets and many rescues! Dog sitting isn’t just something to do for money, but for love and a hobby! I am a college student who works part time, so working around my schedule will be pretty easy! I often find myself with free time and would love to use it with animals! I’m a very patient person when it comes to animals, my yard is not fenced but I am more than willing to take a walk as many times as needed!

About: I have had dogs and cats in my home since I was a child. I have always taken the best of care of my pets. I worked for the Humane Society at one time, but my heart almost broke with love for all of those animals. I always wave and speak to animals, a little corny, but true. You will not find someone who cares more about the well being of your pet. I have also welcomed pet visitors into my classroom frequently. I am currently off for the summer because I am a teacher, so I have lots of time to love and devote to your pet! I have a fenced back yard that allows for running and playing. My own children love pets also. I have two dogs and two cats of my own.

About: I grew up having at least one dog in my house at all times, and I have taken care of a variety of dogs for friends, family, and neighbors since middle school. I have experience with different breeds, temperaments, and sizes of dogs in all walks of life. I am well equipped to go on long walks, enjoy some playtime and enrichment, give lots of cuddles, and spend time loving your dog the way you do while you're gone! I am working part-time and have a flexible schedule to spend time with your pets! I am available during the day to give your pups the loving they need in your absence, whatever that may be. I am a capable caregiver with a lot of personal experience. I prioritize maintaining the rhythm and routine your pets prefer, whether that be long walks, the safety of a crate, enriching play time, or lots of lovin'. I am a quick learner and I am intentional in how I go about giving your dog what they need. I can manage medicine, and most special needs, just let me know in advance!

About: While I'm more used to cats, I do also love dogs. Have a dog with separation anxiety? I can keep them company for a while! I will be working part-time Monday-Friday from 2 pm to 6 pm during the school year (September-Early June). I will be available to watch your pets from 9:30 am-1:30 pm on those days (despite what options this site gave). If I am unable to watch a pet at any time, I will let you know ahead of time by at least a few days. I owned a cat, Higgins, who was a big lovebug and fairly food motivated. I was in charge of feeding him breakfast and dinner since we rescued him in 2015, along with scooping his litterbox. He also needed nightly medication for some stomach issues, so I have experience giving pills. I can feed your pet, clean up after them whether they have a set schedule or not, and provide medication if necessary.

About: I will love and care for your furry friends as I do my own. I've owned dogs my whole life and my family would say it's a passion I've never fulfilled (but will be thanks to rover!) I've owned all size breeds so teacup or a small horse, I've got you covered! I am a Navy Veteran and current full-time student at the University of Michigan and my husband works from home 100% of the time. Your pups will never be left unsupervised. We have two other dogs in the home who love having guests and making new friends. Feedings can take place whenever you deem necessary for you! We have a ton of treats (SCHNACKS) ready to spoil and pamper your puppers as we do our own. I live on 7 acres of land in a private community, and have approximately 1 acre of fenced in yard directly off the back of the house. Your friends will be able to take plenty of potty breaks and nice tranquil walks in the "countryside". They will be kenneled at night (around 11p.m.) in a dark, empty room in a padded kennel. (I know it sounds depressing but is actually super relaxing for doggos!). Doggie bath services are also negotiable.

About: I have a love for animals big and small. I enjoy exploring and making new experiences with animals. I have experience with elderly and medical needs animals. I work as a nanny and have sometimes weeks off and would love to have an animal to take care of and take places with me. I have a house with 13 acres, for dogs that are not recall trained I use a 10 ft leash and always make sure leases are on before the door opens. I have a separate room for my own animals that way if rabbits or cats are meet with aggression all animals will be safe.
