About: People often say I have a way with animals. They always seem drawn to me immediately, even when they are wary of others. I feel honored that animals feel this way about me because I feel the same about them! I have cared for many dogs of all sizes as well as owned cats. I have volunteered at a dog rescue in Thailand that has many disabled dogs as well as fostered cats/kittens here at home. I am an empty nester and would love to care for your four legged family members while you are away. Although I will never replace you, I can provide love and safety until you return (and probably some treats and adventures too!) I'm currently not working and can dedicate my time to pet/house sitting and care. As you can see from my photo gallery, I love all animals and have volunteered at a dog rescue in Thailand, fostered kittens at home, and have seen very cool animals in the wild and at animal rescues/sanctuaries around the world. (I always vet them to make sure they are ethical and doing legit work) I have a large fenced yard and indoor space for cats or dogs. We have plenty of shade and are also willing to take pets with us on outings. I live with my husband and son and they also love and respect animals. As far as caring for pets at someone else's home, I can stay at your house or check in as often as needed. I will play with them, feed them, bathe them, take them places (if requested) and give them love. I know they miss their people and its not the same without you, but I do my best to make them feel safe and comfortable.

She is never without a dog treat for random dogs; just like a grandma carrying candy for kids. She is familiar with mastiffs, rottweilers, and especially beagles! Bring your kid to work day would consist of her beloved pup going on another adventure anywhere and everywhere to meet everyone! She is familiar with all the various mishaps that a dog can get into, and knows how to take care of them when they do; even when it comes to complex cancer treatments and med regiments. She carries 15 years of beloved Buddy beagle pictures; from him beating lymphoma at age 7 to keeping him going for another 8 before succumbing to carcinoma and sarcoma. She loved and took care of him so that he could live twice as long!”

“Kathy is the best! We have 2 young boxers and she (and her trusty Gypsy) managed them so well. I got lots of photos each day. She made sure they were walked, fed, and they always came home tired. Best of all she’s so close to squaw and alpine meadows. I’m so grateful for all her help this week. I will be asking her to sit the boys again when we come back to Truckee.”

We were in the are for the day skiing at Palisades Tahoe as a stop on our road trip, and Luke helped us out so we could have some time to ski away from the pup. We got updates and videos, and he even took our dog for a long walk. Highly recommend, his training skills are great and super convenient location, great communication.”

I can assure you that I am responsible and will keep your furry friend safe and comfortable. You can trust that Our schedule is extremely flexible. Me and my brother got you covered 24/7. One of us is always home and available for your pet. Your pet gets the VIP treatment, they will cozy up with us by the fire place, go on long walks and get plenty of play time

“Micaela watched over our senior chihuahua Lilly. Lilly is usally anxious and very timid with strangers, however Micaela made active efforts to relieve her anxiety and make her comfy. Micaela followed instructions and took extra steps when needed. It was nice to get photos throughout the day, and Micaela's responses were always quick. Micaela even took Lilly for a walk before pick up (a last minute request), despite it resulting in going past time. I trust Micaela to make my dog feel comfortable, cared for, and adapt to their needs throughout the day”

About: I’m working remotely in Truckee, CA. I’ve fostered dogs, cats and volunteered at animal shelters all my life. I grew up caring for 3 dogs but have been boarding and sitting dogs for 6 years now (Wag). I’m very active and love walking or running with a dog at my side! I have experience with strong/ “hard to handle” dogs and puppies/kittens as well. I love meeting dogs of all sizes, breeds, and unique personalities! I live in a house with a deck and I’m super close to trails and Donner lake. I do have a lab and a kitty at home. Both are friendly with all animals (big or small) and people. I do take special and high maintenance requests. Thanks! I am home full time so the pups will get my full attention and love! When I wake up I usually go for a walk or run and then work on my laptop at home for around 3 hours, then I’m free the rest of the day! :) My home is always clean, food never left out because Rufus is already on the lookout haha. I’ve been dog walking for many years and have encountered many obstacles when dog walking/sitting and I’ve learned staying alert and giving them love and attention keeps them happy.

About: My partner and I both grew up with cats and dogs in our households and we love pet sitting! We do not have any animals of our own due to frequent travel and not wanting the long-term commitment at this point in life, but Rover a great opportunity to fill the void of not having animals around. My boyfriend works remotely and I work on a hybrid schedule with the opportunity to come home for lunch on the days I’m in office. We have ample time to tend to pets and we enjoy getting outside for walks to break up our workdays. Having grown up with many pets, I'm comfortable with them being on furniture and having them feel at home in my space. I believe the best way for animals to feel comfortable is by sticking to their normal daily schedule.
