“Jadyn was EXCELLENT with my dog Sam while I went away. She sent me pictures and updates through out the whole stay. I would high recommend her, and will definitely continue to use her for dog sitting services. Thank you so much Jadyn :) we love you 🩷”

About: I’ve taken care of all types of animals since I was 8. My passion for dogs will never stop growing. I have worked with dogs for 4 plus years now, from boarding, grooming and all around care. I treat and love every dog like my own. Use this link to get $20 off on your first booking! https://www.rover.com/sit/sabris67056 I’m currently in online school pursing my bachelors, so I have extra time on my hands. I will be in school for the next year. So why not do what I love, right? I have a very friendly dog who is very gentle with all dogs. If your pup stays with me they can be separated with no issue if you prefer. Or have a bestfriend to play with. I have my vet assistant certification to know if there are any abnormal issues or concerns with your pups. I also have 4 plus years of working in a dog boarding kennel so I worked with many breeds including large dog breeds.
“Andrea is a beautiful, intelligent and compassionate professional. She cares about the animals she looks after while 'pet parents' are away. She reduces anxieties naturally by listening carefully and observing astutely. Hygge had never been away or 'boarded' for pet sitting prior to my experience with Andrea. At all times she was communicative, caring and purposeful in her interactions with Hygge, who probably worried about being in a new home away from home for a few days on many levels. My transportation plans were delayed due to a severe storm that prevented my scheduled pick up, and Andrea was patient, reasonable and loving during my own stress about being stuck in NYC beyond my control for the pick up of my dog after traveling for a few days. She worked with me every step of the way, and the boarding experience was a total success even with transportation issues. Hygge returned home happy, healthy, well-nourished and satisfied with renewed confidence in his ability to work with another lovely family in our sweet community in a spirit of trust and sucess. All in all, I would recommend Andrea to work with anyone who has pets they love and want to broaden the scope of their pet's world by allowing Andrea to work with them and care for them. Andrea also understands the complexities of rescue animals, and will work with you so all are informed and kept in safe environments that nourish everyone's positive potential. She is also very pleasant and loving. She is a talented professional and a local treasure to all who come in contact with her.”

“Chelsea is a wonderful dog sitter!! She is prompt, responsive to texts and emails and is an absolute delight. She treated my dog like one of her own. Couldn’t ask for a better dog watcher. Will DEFINITELY call her again!!”

“I had a great experience with Carla. She was very communicative and sent regular updates, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. My dog came back happy and well cared for, and everything went smoothly. I would definitely book again.”

“I am very happy with the care that my Dallas received while staying with Christina. Dallas is a timid dog and I was concern that she would have problems being away from home. But she was fine, Christina took good care of her and that means a lot to me. I like to travel twice a year and I will be using Christina for all of my future travels!”

About: Hi my name is laila and i’ve worked at 4 dog daycares. My most recent and committed one has been fidos playland. I’ve been working with dogs since around 2021 and have one of my own that i trained. I get the basic understand behind dogs in general since i’ve been with them every single day and love to learn there personalities to communicate with them. I babysit from home i have a mini dog daycare the most i get through the day is about 5 dogs. I did work in a boarding facility and in dogs homes before. I stay home all day with the dogs and dedicate my time to them. I make sure everyone gets along and can be compatible for the day In home I have a spacious area for dogs to run and play with no restrictions and also give opportunities to go play outside under high supervision
“Cindy was wonderful! She happily accepted our 5 year old Lab for a 4 day stay with only 4 day’s notice. Just when we were feeling guilty about not bringing Sybil on our trip a pic of her looking comfy and happy would show up to make us smile and know she was being taken good care of. Sybil enjoyed her stay at Cindy’s beautiful property and enjoyed her walks in the country too! Absolutely top notch stay in every regard.”

“Kenniqua (Kiki) took amazing care of our Gypsy during a recent short vacation. One can tell right away how much Kiki loves dogs, having a beautiful and mild-mannered hound herself! We felt perfectly comfortable leaving our girl in Kiki’s care and will seek out her services again in the future.”

“As is the case for most, our pets are life and love to us. The word Beloved doesn't even come close to what these magical creatures mean to our hearts, so when we have to leave them with a sitter, there's always the concern that they will be cared for wonderfully in every way. There is no better care and loving companion to my schnauzer, Gladys Rose than Jeff. This is the second time she has stayed with him, and from walking, to yard runs, to cuddles, to play time, being with other dogs, and tender care, Gladys was in the absolute best of hands. As I write, Gladys is asleep in my lap, dreaming, no doubt, of her week with Jeff and the fine comfort and happiness it gave her.”

“Rebecca watched our Golden Retriever for 10 days while we were away internationally, and she was incredibly trustworthy and communicative. She eased all of our worries about being away from our family member for so long. She sent regular updates and photos, and you could tell how much care and attention she gave during his stay. Our dog seems to miss her now that we have him back, which shows what kind of person she is! I would 100% use Rebecca’s services again.”

About: Originally from upstate NY, I spent time working as a professional veterinary assistant in Atlanta, GA while in school. In this role, I worked directly under a veterinarian to monitor, clean, and provide medical check-ups for dogs at local pet centers, while also providing care for other animals at a boarding and daycare resort. With this hands-on experience, I am deeply familiar with dog health, sanitization, and administering medications. I enjoy spending time with dogs, understand how to spot early signs of illness, and know how to keep dogs on a fun and healthy routine. Since moving back to upstate NY, I do part-time work as a tech consultant from home. This allows me to give plenty of attention to your pet, while also providing plenty of outdoor activities. My wife also works from home, which allows her the flexibility to help as well. Our house is situated right next to the D&H Canal trail, and we take regular walks on a daily basis.Whether your dog is a growing puppy who needs attentive care or an older dog who requires a reliable, experienced handler, my top priority is maintaining their health, safety, and happiness while you are away. My wife and I both work part-time from home, which gives us highly flexible schedules to prioritize your pet's care throughout the week. Our daily routine naturally includes multiple walks along the scenic D&H Canal trail, which directly borders our property. Because our work keeps us at home, guest pets enjoy consistent supervision, frequent potty breaks, and plenty of playful companionship. Our home sits far back from the road at the end of a long driveway, offering a very quiet, safe environment. We sit on 10 acres of land, featuring 3 groomed acres for supervised play and 7 acres of private woods. While our yard is only partially fenced, we have two large, fully enclosed decks that are completely fenced in—perfect for safe sunbathing, lounging, and secure outdoor activities. We also utilize a collapsible fence that we can pull out and set up to create customized secure boundaries if necessary. For exercise, dogs are strictly supervised and kept on-leash as we head down the driveway to our private access point for the D&H Canal trail, keeping them completely away from traffic.

“Arsenii was wonderful with my dog Genevieve while we had to be away for a family’s memorial. He was always kind, understanding, and sent me updates with pictures everyday without me having to ask. He also brought all her things (bed, food, toys, etc) back to my car when I picked her up, which was so generous. Genevieve also had the best time with them, and was very happy and relaxed. I’ll definitely be asking Arsenii to help out again in the future. Fully recommend him!!”

“Leaving a pet behind is always tough, but Jordan made Emma feel right at home with plenty of love and attention. To my complete surprise, Jordan gave an unexpected breakfast for Emma when I went to pick her up.”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Circleville home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Circleville.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Circleville sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NY ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
