Amy is close to the retreat we were on, which was part of the reason why we chose her, but I would seriously consider making the 2-hour trip to her if Tango needed sitting again, regardless of her proximity to where I was going.”

We were traveling and staying at an Airbnb so we could do a day at Legoland. I was nervous, but everything went great! About: I grew up on a dairy farm with all sorts of animals around. I have had many dogs, cats, parrots, chickens, rabbits, rats, and horses over the years. I have a degree in Equestrian Science and have taken care of animals my entire adult life. I have always been an avid hiker as well and love to take the pups on walks around the area. About: I’ve worked with dogs of all shapes and sizes, I have volunteered countless hours in a shelter and have lived with dogs for the last 10 years. I have experience with both pure breed and rescues. I am an active person so your dog will always have someone to play with! I currently work nights so late night or early morning visits are never an issue! About: As a lifelong animal lover, I have multiple years experience caring for dogs, cats, pocketpets, rabbits, fish, parakeets, reptiles and chickens. I also have experience providing care in a rabbit/cat/small animal rescue and in stables so I am very well rounded when it comes to all manner of pet care. I am comfortable walking, feeding, playing, etc. Currently my schedule is generally Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm with a bit of leeway here and there. I can do walks and drop ins on evenings and weekends. Knowing what your pet needs in advance makes it easier for me to set my upcoming schedule to accommodate them. And as an added bonus when it comes to working from home: House sitting is a breeze! I am able to give tons of attention during the work day and use my breaks to take pups out for walks and play time. For my own pets I have two cats and guinea pigs. The guinea pigs have a large cage in my spare room/office and there is plenty of room to board other pocket pets if need be. For other people's pets I will absolutely treat them with the same care and attention as my own. Tango - who had only been sat by family members prior to this - immediately felt comfortable and welcome. He had a ball, was well cared for and even got a bath and nail trim for an extremely reasonable additional charge. Amy is close to the retreat we were on, which was part of the reason why we chose her, but I would seriously consider making the 2-hour trip to her if Tango needed sitting again, regardless of her proximity to where I was going.”

She reduces anxieties naturally by listening carefully and observing astutely. Hygge had never been away or 'boarded' for pet sitting prior to my experience with Andrea. At all times she was communicative, caring and purposeful in her interactions with Hygge, who probably worried about being in a new home away from home for a few days on many levels. My transportation plans were delayed due to a severe storm that prevented my scheduled pick up, and Andrea was patient, reasonable and loving during my own stress about being stuck in NYC beyond my control for the pick up of my dog after traveling for a few days. She worked with me every step of the way, and the boarding experience was a total success even with transportation issues. Hygge returned home happy, healthy, well-nourished and satisfied with renewed confidence in his ability to work with another lovely family in our sweet community in a spirit of trust and sucess. She’s a very kind and caring person and also very responsible with things like a camera set up in the room dogs sleep in to check on throughout the night. “This was our first time leaving my almost 4 year old dog with any type of sitter. This was also her first time, with other dogs for an extended period of time. I was a little nervous at first but once we had the meet and greet with Jeff before confirming the stay I knew this would be the best place for my Betsy! Jeff was great at communicating before, after and during the stay. We got so many photos of how Betsy was doing. We had a bunch of thunder storms the week she was staying, Jeff did a fantastic job keeping her comfortable. He sent many updates and overall I felt confident that betsy was taken care of. When we picked her up she was so calm for the rest of the day. She had a great stay, and made so many few doggie friends! I would recommend Jeff to anyone and everyone! My home is located on two beautiful acres with a pond and direct access to the Heritage Trail, giving your dog plenty of opportunities for supervised outdoor time, adventurous sniffs, and leashed walks. Inside, I provide a cage-free, home-style environment. Guest dogs have free roam of my home and are treated like part of the family rather than being kept in kennels. I will use a crate if an owner requests it because that is what their dog is accustomed to at home. I accept dogs of all sizes and personalities and take time to learn about each dog’s temperament, routine, habits, and individual needs before their stay. I limit boarding to a maximum of three guest dogs at a time so I can provide close supervision and personalized attention. With more than 15 years of dog-boarding and care experience, creating a safe, loving, and comfortable environment is always my priority. Owners also receive regular photos and updates while they’re away. I encourage clients parents to check in whenever they would like - even a facetime here and there would be nice!
