About: I have a service dog that I owner trained so while I am definitely not a professional dog trainer, I have spent a lot of time working on dog training. If your dog is still working to heel, not jump, ignore other dogs etc, I will be sure to follow your instructions extremely carefully to make sure your pup can get the care they need without backsliding on training. I am a hiker biker and runner so if you have an active dog who needs lots of exercise I am happy to take them out, but also will gladly snuggle up with a couch potato! I love all kinds of dogs and I am excited for the opportunity to help take care of yours! I am also an expert and making food games to keep your pup entertained! Unfortunately, since I have my own pup I cannot stay the night in your home. I am more than happy to come morning and night for feeding and in between for walks, check-ins, potty breaks etc! I am new on the app but have lots of experience with animal sitting and dog walking. I am currently working part time so I have a very flexible schedules and am generally available on short notice! I am currently working part time so I have a lot of time available to check in, dog walk etc! I am available on both weekdays and weekends most of the time! I will care for you animals in whatever way feels best to you! I have taken care of crate trained dogs and free rangers, dogs who spent the whole day outside and dogs who needed to be coaxed out to pee. About: I have always been an animal lover. During any friend or family get together you will 100% find me visiting more with the pets than the people. Throughout my life I have owned or cared for mice, cats, dogs, rabbits, and most recently guinea pigs. For the last 5 years I have been a devoted guinea pig mommy, and aunty to many of my friends sweet dog and cat fur babies. It would bring me great joy to provide you peace of mind about your pet being safe and taken care of, whether you are away on vacation or just gone to work for the day. I have a very flexible schedule with availability any day of the week at a variety of times. I am a former Elementary Teacher of over 20 years who is looking for another passion to fill both my time and my heart. I intend to carefully follow any directions provided to give your pet and yourself a positive experience. “Josh was Incredible! My dog, Ziggy, is a bit apprehensive meeting new people and especially welcoming people into our home. Josh listened to my requests for their first meeting and had such good vibes and body language that it was a mere matter of minutes before Ziggy was literally eating out of his hands and Ziggy had no problem with Josh following us upstairs and hanging out inside. I didn't doubt for a second that Josh could handle Ziggy's antics and his strength on the leash. Josh sent daily updates and pictures of Ziggy out on walks and snuggling with him on the couch. I had a friend checking in on my kitty but Josh noticed that she (the cat) had thrown up in the spare room and not only let me know about it, and kept an eye on her mood/behaviors but even took it upon himself to clean up the mess!
