“Jada has been an amazing and caring person who loved and cared for my cats while we were away. She was helpful, flexible and communicated clearly. She was attentive when receiving instructions. My cats, even the shy one, instantly felt comfortable with her! She must have the true free spirit recognised by animals! I'll definitely book her again when needed!”

“Great to have you and you will be missed. Also consider photography cause the pics you gave me of all the babies are top tier. I’ll reach out for Kayla any chance or need I have.”

“Alexa is a very kind person. It shows as she was genuinely gentle approaching Lucy and Denny Hamlin for the first time. It was love at first sight lol. Alexa is really great organizing toys and keeping kennels clean. She is very polite and I would enjoy having her back to help me with Lucy and Denny Hamlin again!”

“I had a great experience with Carly, She was on time and stuck to the drop-in visit schedule. Animals were well taken care of and I will use her in the future as my senior babies need a gentle hand. She was able to still navigate to drop-in visits with the winter storm.”

“Hali was really flexible with scheduling and great to communicate with! She came at the scheduled time and provided pictures. Would definitely use her for dog walking again!”

About: I’m an attentive, patient, and genuinely dog-loving sitter who understands that every pup has their own routines.I’m comfortable with all kinds of care including structured playtime, feeding routines and keeping their environment clean and calm. What sets me apart is my reliability, my calm demeanor, and my genuine passion for giving dogs a positive, stress-free experience while you're away. Being a cat parent, pet care fits into my daily routine like an intergral part. I have a full-time job but I can cater to after hours services. I'm available for weekends and holidays as well. I will prioritize your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine. I pay attention to keep their environment calm and clean, will follow your instructions closely, and treat your home and pet with the same respect I do with mine own. You can trust that your pet is in caring, responsible hands.
“Amanda took great care of our cat while we were gone. She checked in each visit and took plenty of pictures so I could see how he was doing. When we got home I could see she had fed him and cleaned his litter box and he was a happy and healthy kitten!”

About: I'm a 37 year old single dog mom to a female standard poodle that is fixed. I've watched dogs off and on since I was in college and always enjoyed playing with, cuddling, and getting to know each dogs personality. I love all dogs; big and small, and have owned several different breeds myself, including two English bulldogs who both lived to be 13 years old (which is old age for a bulldog) and a sweet labradoodle that I had for close to a year, but had to rehome due to aggresion towards my poodle. I work as a dental assistant Monday-Thursday, and my 3 day weekends are mostly filled with doggy snuggles and an occasional pup cup run! I would be available to take dog drop offs starting on Thursday evenings when I get home from my 9-5. I have a fenced in yard that's ideal for play time and potty. My dog is a sweet good natured girl so your pup will make friends and not be bored. I care about your fur baby and will make sure that they are comfortable and feel as "at home" as they can while they are away from their own home. I work at a dental office Monday-Thursday and have Friday-Sunday off. I would be available to take dog drop offs once I'm home from work on Thursday evenings. I'm quite the homebody, so other than church on Sunday morning for a few hours, I'm home the majority of the weekend. I have a fenced in yard where your pups can play and run and go potty. As long as they aren't "jumpers" they should be just fine. My dog is a mild mannered and good natured girl. I do have one large/x-large crate and I have a medium sized crate that can be used if your dog needs to be crated, or you can bring your own. My standard poodle stays out in the house most of the time uncrated, as she is 4 years old and fairly good about not getting into trouble.
About: Hello! My name is Natalie and I have always been drawn to all types of animals my entire life. We had multiples cats in our home growing up. At the age of 13 I volunteered at a local pets store, started working on a farm at 15 which then lead me to being AKC showmanship trained and traveling to show Shetland Sheepdogs professionally. After that, I ventured off to college and started my professional life. Along the way I have always had a pet or 2 by my side and would have had a zoo if my husband would have allowed it! I have rehabilitated and re-homed dogs and cats who either had some type of illness or behaviors. I love animals and will love yours too! I work from home throughout the week and have a cat and dog if my own. I am available any day of the week for drop off and pick up. Sundays we attend church and will not be available for pick up or drop off before 1:00PM. I have a large 6 ft fenced yard with plenty of space for exercise. I have a dog and cat in my home so if they play well together, they will be very entertained. If I need to keep them separate, that is not problem and I can easily alternate yard times so all have plenty of time out.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Church Hill
I was nervous because we’ve never had someone from rover watch our good boys, but Kayla was so amazing. She gave us detailed notes daily, so many photos, and all around just calmed me down about leaving them by how much she was detailing. I could tell she was really playing with them and learning their personalities just based on the notes she was leaving, and I’m so grateful!

Carly has been our go to sitter for more than 2 years, she always does a great job and our dog loves her. She's always on time, does exactly what she says she'll do and then some, our Axel is a very nervous dog but she knows exactly how to bring him out of his shell id recommend Carly anytime

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
