At the age of 13 I volunteered at a local pets store, started working on a farm at 15 which then lead me to being AKC showmanship trained and traveling to show Shetland Sheepdogs professionally. After that, I ventured off to college and started my professional life. Along the way I have always had a pet or 2 by my side and would have had a zoo if my husband would have allowed it! I have rehabilitated and re-homed dogs and cats who either had some type of illness or behaviors. I love animals and will love yours too! I work from home throughout the week and have a cat and dog if my own. I am available any day of the week for drop off and pick up. Sundays we attend church and will not be available for pick up or drop off before 1:00PM. I have a large 6 ft fenced yard with plenty of space for exercise. I have a dog and cat in my home so if they play well together, they will be very entertained. If I need to keep them separate, that is not problem and I can easily alternate yard times so all have plenty of time out.

About: I grew up with a variety of pets rabbits, birds, fish & a tortosie. As an adult I owned kitties who both unfortunately passed from cancer. We also have 3 dogs- 11.5y bloodhound mix, 5y bloodhound & a 2y German Shepherd. I am willing to help teach your dog basic skills during our time together if you would like. Prior to moving to TN in 2024 my dogs and I were part of a wonderful Search and Rescue team. I enjoy nearly all outdoors activities. “Bailey was dropped off early in the morning. This was his first experience with a daycare. Lori quickly took him for a walk after I said "I'll be back." He handled this new experience well. The visit was actually cut short due to a change in scheduling at the VA but when I picked him up, he was happy to see me, but didn't seem upset at all. This is a spoiled little boy and he was as comfortable as could be expected.! Lori was friendly and confident with how she handled things. I will definitely use here services again! About: I have taken care of a variety of animals as big as horses and small as fish. I walk dogs and allow them to have play time, especially high energy dogs, they need it the most. I can cook meals for the animals if needed for a special diet. I reward with treats for good behavior. I don't mind if I need to get down and dirty. I've helped deliver a litter of kittens and nursed a kitten from a few days old. I work 8-2:30 in Persia and have to pick up by son before 3 at Preschool . I have 3 pets of my own. I let my pup out as needed, she lets me know or at minimum every 2 hours unless asleep. I also have a screened in porch for the cats or dogs that love outside time without actually having to go out, I have a fenced in back yard with a 6ft high fencing. I have a fenced in yard that is 6ft tall and I have a furr baby that would love to play and keep yours company. I also have 2 indoor cats but they would more than likely hide till adjusted to a new visitor.

I’ve been owing/caring for my own animals and others’ for 11 years. Dogs of all sizes and breeds, cats, exotics, fish and horses specifically. I raised and trained my own service dog (in pictures - the brown muttley girl<3) so I have a lot of animal psychology, animal training and one year of veterinary experience and education. I’m happy to travel 9 miles outside of east Salem for anybody. I follow verbal or written instructions and medication/walk/playtime schedules to the T. About: Managing multiple dogs from different breeds at one time by providing leashed walks and other play-time exercises in nearby parks Using positive training techniques during walks, teaching obedience to aggressive pets and educating client about their pet's behavior Following proper dog walking schedules, and conducting leashed walks for the time recommended by the owner Taking dogs for walks for 20 minutes to 1 hour as suggested by clients, and cleaning dogs after bringing them to the center Managing pick-ups and drops from the client's homes, and offering at-home services for new clients to adjust to the pet's known surroundings Conducting walks for 5-10 dogs in groups or private as needed, and monitoring behavioral changes in outdoors Providing a range of pet services like socialization, over-night care, grooming for daily, weekly or seasonal clients as per requirements
About: I have been an experienced and trusted pet sitter in many clients homes for 20 years. My husband and I have no children and we feel very strongly that pets are our children and I know you feel the same way about yours . I will provide the most experienced, reliable and loving care available. I can care for your cats and dogs of any age and provide medication also.
