About: I have lived with multiple dogs my entire life and worked in an animal shelter in college. I am a trustworthy, able bodied person with a passion for animals. I am patient caretaker - so I can care from any stage of life, puppies to seniors. I’m currently working part-time, so I will have a lot of availability throughout the week. Weekdays and weekends included. It also goes for my hours of availability. I have a fenced in backyard with plenty of space for play/outside time, and I also have a good road for walking in my secluded neighborhood.

About: I've been caring for animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my mom had as many as six dogs at a time, and I was actively involved in their daily care from a very young age. We also had multiple litters of puppies over the years, giving me hands-on experience with dogs of all ages—from newborn puppies to senior dogs. In addition to dogs, I've cared for cats, rabbits, and hamsters, making me comfortable with a variety of pets and their unique needs. Whether it's feeding, walking, playtime, administering basic care, or simply providing companionship, I've spent a lifetime around animals and genuinely enjoy caring for them. Most recently, my two beloved dogs passed away. While I'm not quite ready to bring new pets into my home yet, I miss having animals in my life. Pet sitting felt like the perfect way to continue spending time with pets, providing them with the same love, attention, and care that I gave my own. I am able to take care of your pets on whatever schedule works best for them and you. I have a fenced in yard for your pets to run around in. I also live in a cul-de-sac so it’s a safe neighborhood to walk pets in! I have no other pets living in my home so all my attention can be on your baby or babies!

About: Hello my name is Fern and I’m the critter sitter! My schedule is pretty flexible I’m in Salem, Va Fridays through sundays every week. I’ve been owing/caring for my own animals and others’ for 11 years. Dogs of all sizes and breeds, cats, exotics, fish and horses specifically. I’m quite experienced administering oral, topical and insulin type medications. I raised and trained my own service dog (in pictures - the brown muttley girl<3) so I have a lot of animal psychology, animal training and one year of veterinary experience and education. I will never give unwarranted advice if it is not asked for; that’s professional respect. But if you ask me I might have some tips or could help figure out w/e :). My world outside my M-Thursday inventory job pretty much revolves around caring for my partner’s doggy and having adventures with him so I figured I’ve missed working w animals in that capacity a lot so why not get back into it when I’ll just be bored otherwise :) Since Mason (Boxer smooshy face brindle in pics) is reactive, my residence is not an option currently for anything. I’m happy to travel 9 miles outside of east Salem for anybody. I follow verbal or written instructions and medication/walk/playtime schedules to the T. I send daily pictures multiple times a day for parent reassurance because that’s important to me.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats all of my life ,i have worked at kennels and a ranch,and completed the training for animal caretaking in those environments. I’m self employed creative currently , so I have time and a flexible schedule, new to the area and flexible to help and also do something I also enjoy, Whatever they need, I can do, home sits if needed in the clients home and can do the same in my home as well , i offer boarding ,daycare,drop ins,walks, just let me know what you need! When caring for pets in my home, I provide a safe, comfortable environment with supervised play, regular potty breaks, exercise, fresh water, and lots of companionship. I take time to learn each pet’s personality, energy level, and preferences so they feel secure and cared for while their family is away. About: What sets me apart from other sitters is that I have been taking care of animals since I was 15 years old. I stared working at a vets office and haven’t looked back. Pet care can look like many different things in my week such as, a single feeding, a walk, a check in or the full on in home service with all the feedings and all the walks. While, I would love to have every dog and cat over to my house I can’t realistically do that b/c I own a cat who does love other cats and she tolerates dogs, your dog or cat would have to be cat friendly. So most of my jobs are me coming to your home whether that is a drop in or a full time boarding situation while you’re on vacation.

About: I have had cats and dogs since I was a child. I learned pet care responsibility early in my life and I teach my kids the same. My mom calls me the animal whisperer. Haha! I've had a special bond with all animals for a long time. Growing up and even now I have a heart to help the stray animals too. I love all pets and animals and I will take the utmost care of your fur babies as if they were my own. I am a stay home mom. I can accommodate any reasonable schedule. I cannot do overnights with small kids at home. Special circumstances are considered. I have a 5 month old well behaved pup to keep your dog(s) company. In my yard is a dog pen and a lead leash with plenty of room to run. If you need me to care for cats I can give them room to run in my home. I have two other older cats that have their own space. If you have a speck routine you have for your fur baby just let me know. I will do my best to accommodate.
