About: I have always had dogs and had a several dogs growing up. I currently have two dogs that I love one of which has heartworms. So I have experience caring for dogs who need medicine and extra care. One of my dogs is also senior so I understand the requirements that come with caring for older dogs. This will be my first time working as a pet sitter but I have lots of experience around animals. I currently work full-time, but I am able normally completely free on the weekends. I also work near downtown Kingsport so I am able to leave on my lunch break to do dog walking. I do travel around the area a lot for my job and sometimes work late so I may not always be nearby or able to walk dogs very frequently through the weekday. I will be as attentive as possible when watching dogs in your home. I will also be respectful to your space and follow whatever rules I am given.

About: I've taken care of animals of all types and ages throughout my life, and was happily the go-to pet sitter for my neighborhood growing up. I currently have plenty of spare time on my hands! Most weeks I'm available from the afternoon into nights. I'm flexible and happy to work with other time frames! When I'm taking care of someones critter, they have 100% of my attention. I'm happy to follow any particular needs your pet has to make sure they're happy and comfortable.

“Joan is a terrific pet/farm sitter. She is my go to person when I have to be out of town to take care my animals. I have a 30 acre homestead with lots of chores that includes taking care of 2 dogs, 2 cats,9 chickens and pet duck. They are not the easiest to care for. My dog is indoor/outdoor but has anxiety issues and will barge out the door if he thinks you’re leaving. Joan lets him out during the day to play exercise and always offers him pets and treats and he is happy to come back in the house for her at night so he don’t have to stay out. This is great especially if the forecast is bad as he is afraid of storms. He also has take a daily joint supplement and the cold is hard on him. Joan makes sure he gets his supplement daily in cheese just as I would give it to him. One of my cats is lazy and is fine as long as he is fed daily. The other young and rambunctious and runs outside frequently but she manages to keep him occupied inside with pets or allows him time to play outside while she does other chores before insuring he is back inside safe nightly while I’m away. The chickens/duck are free range they run the entire farm they have a coop to go up in nightly that is locked so they are safe from predators. I don’t have an auto door so they have to be let out of their coop every morning fed/watered as needed and then locked back up at night. They are “night owls” so to speak and wait as late as possible to go up so at times Joan has to offer them treats or stay late and wait for them to go up without complaint. As a bonus she collects my eggs for me so that the nesting boxes are free for the hens the next morning. This is especially helpful when we are gone during the holidays in the cold months when they can freeze. The duck will not swim in our pond he is spoiled and wants his kids pool to swim in with fresh water. Joan takes exceptionally good care of all my animals and is very reasonably priced compared to paying boarding fees for pets so I highly recommend her services.”

“Hannah has taken care of my furry family every time I’m out of town for almost 2 years. Hannah is reliable and responsible. She is there when agreed. I do rescue and can have in my house any number of cats at any time, 8-10 depending on who is needing help. Plus I have a dog. All the animals have been at one point stray and injured or are still in recovery and need to be separated from the rest. Hannah have never failed to follow instructions on how to care for them. She even helps me with the feral cats living outside of whom I feel responsible to help and therefore can’t leave hanging just because I go out of town 😅. Hannah has never said she couldn’t help. She is caring and gentle with them all as it’s needed due to how fragile their trust in humans is. I don’t worry at all when they are under her care. She goes above and beyond to ensure everyone is well taken care of and I highly recommend Hannah as a sitter for your furry family members.”

About: I have two cats and one dog myself who I love with all of my heart, so my care for animals is always 100%. I have recently had roomates with dogs I would take care of whole they were away, so on top of my animals I made sure to take care of my roomates dogs. So multiple animals is not a problem with me. The more the better I always say. My whole life I had an interest in animals which is why I went to school and currently hold a B.S degree in agriculture with a concentration of animal science . Including my prior knowledge in HS from many vet tech classes and etc. I also currently work at doggies day out and deal with all types of breeds. My knowledge and care for animals is a very strong feature I have and am proud to have.

About: I've had all kinds of animals my whole life. We always took in animals that had been dumped off. My life is not complete without an animal in it. I'm part time as of now. I can do after 2 pm. About: I have owned different kinds of animals all my life! I currently work at Ballad Health and am wanting to do Rover in my spare time. I volunteered with PAWS Of SWVA for 3 years. I have experience with many different breeds, small or large, and ones who need extra help and attention. You will see in my pictures that I have a Lab named Layla and an Aussie named Whiskey. They loves walks, playing with other animals, and being spoiled. My availability is scattered but I’m very accommodating. I would love more than anything to spoil your pup as much as I do mine. Please make sure to send me any additional information about your pup that I would need to know. I will follow your routine and give updates every 1-2 hours. I currently work full time through the week. But I am trying to find something to do in my evenings/weekend. I have plenty of time to fit more loving animals into my schedule. We are currently working on building a fence. Our doggies go on walks daily and get plenty of play time/exercise. We also like to take them on car rides.
