About: I have been surrounded by dogs my whole life, and I got my first dog at 16. My dog is a mastiff mix, who was unfortunately a covid puppy, leaving her with little socialisation, causing her to be reactive around other animals. We have both been learning from each other everyday and I have been working with and training her since she was a puppy. Throughout the years she has gotten much more confident in herself; even having dog friends now and a younger puppy sister. I have also worked with senior dogs, adminstering medication as needed and helping assist with activities. I have worked with other animals as well, of all different sizes, so I am confident in my ability to read body language and take care of the dogs as needed I am a full-time college student, who is working part-time, and with a chaotic schedule, finding a job for a business is difficult due to my availibilty. I have several animals of my own, making spending time and taking care of them the highlight of my day. I love and treat animals just as the family they are, so when working with others animals, it feels like more of a reward than a job, which I feel is crucial when being a full-time college student and trying to make a living. About: I worked at a dog/cat kennel for over 3 years. I was fortunate enough to work with all breeds, sizes, ages, and behavioral levels. I want to give your pet the best and most comfortable experience while you're away! I am a college student at UD studying ecology. My schedule is generally pretty open with the exception of morning classes (~9 am - 11 am). My availability varies, but I can be flexible! Feel free to message me to inquire! I am comfortable playing with your dog in their home, taking them on walks, or little field trips and hikes (for the more energetic pups) around Delaware if you'd like! About: Animals are Gods among us. I agree with Ricky Gervais, that "a dog loves you more than it loves itself, and that's why I worship dogs." Honestly, this gig is a bit selfish - my sweet baby Pit Mix passed away recently & I miss her terribly. I'm certain that engaging with animals will soothe this depression. I am socially awkward with humans, but I love animals. This will be therapy, a true gift, to me. I also need to exercise more and would like to be able to afford any kind of home, some day. My family has had pets since I was in kindergarten. I volunteered with Faithful Friends in High School, through which I also fostered kittens. I have taken care of my neighbors' & friends' pets while away over the years, which I equate to a collective total of ~2 years. I take medical issues very seriously & cared for my doll when she was ill. I understand how stressful & important it is. My favorite thing about walking a dog is when the folded tops of their ears bounce up and down. I work full time until ~4:30PM, but I am usually free after. I am available for boarding on the weekends. On the days I work from home (typically Monday & Wednesday), I can also provide a walk or check in during my lunch hour (1 to 2PM). There are no other animals or children in my home; your pet will have my undivided attention. I have a large partially fenced in yard, and many walking trails nearby. “Raven did a wonderful job with our pup! This was our first time having someone (not family) stay at our house to watch him, so we were a little nervous on how it would go. Spice is an 85 pound mixed breed dog that can be pretty quirky and anxious with new people. It took a little bit to warm up, but once he was comfortable, he did great! Raven was very patient with him and understood his quirks quickly. She was very responsive, sent multiple updates (with pictures), played with him and took him on walks daily. I truly appreciated having her stay with him.”

I have taken care of horses, fish, snakes. Etc! Depending on the location I can care for pets during the week and make sure they get their potty needs out of the way during lunch time and once I am done at work. Afternoons and weekends are also super doable! My cats are indoor kitties and are only allowed on the deck, however I will care for the owners pets as they would like me to care for them.
