About: Animals are Gods among us. I agree with Ricky Gervais, that "a dog loves you more than it loves itself, and that's why I worship dogs." Honestly, this gig is a bit selfish - my sweet baby Pit Mix passed away recently & I miss her terribly. I'm certain that engaging with animals will soothe this depression. I am socially awkward with humans, but I love animals. This will be therapy, a true gift, to me. I also need to exercise more and would like to be able to afford any kind of home, some day. My family has had pets since I was in kindergarten. I volunteered with Faithful Friends in High School, through which I also fostered kittens. I have taken care of my neighbors' & friends' pets while away over the years, which I equate to a collective total of ~2 years. I take medical issues very seriously & cared for my doll when she was ill. I understand how stressful & important it is. My favorite thing about walking a dog is when the folded tops of their ears bounce up and down. I work full time until ~4:30PM, but I am usually free after. I am available for boarding on the weekends. On the days I work from home (typically Monday & Wednesday), I can also provide a walk or check in during my lunch hour (1 to 2PM). There are no other animals or children in my home; your pet will have my undivided attention. I have a large partially fenced in yard, and many walking trails nearby. I'm also happy to take care of a pet in your home, if preferred.

About: I have been involved with pet rescue for coming up on 10 years and have been an avid pet parent to all types of animals for my entire life. My family and I were responsible for the rehabilitation of pets with high needs. This involved pets with both behavioral concerns and medically fragile pets through my fostering experience. I work with them to ensure they can put their best paw forward into their forever home. I have also attended several pet training class for fosters and my own family pets and am generally good with pets of all temperaments. I work full time, but am committed to taking care of all of our pets! Primarily I would be looking for night and weekend work to make sure I have adequate time to spend with your fur babies. I have 3 cats that live in my home and mostly roam freely (except for mealtimes) I also have a large dog kennel in my home for boarding needs. I have a small fenced in yard and also live in an easily walkable area with lots of doggie neighbors.

About: I’ve been working in animal rescue since middle school, and have watched animals both in home and with drop-ins for many years now! I am passionate about animal care, can give medicine with ease, and love a good dog walk. I am a Licensed Veterinary Technician who is both fear-free and RECOVER CPR certified. I specialize in handling the more nervous patients who need a little TLC before doing anything. I always treat my client's pets as my own <3 I am currently working a variable number of shifts, no longer than 12 hours, so I would love to fit your pet into my schedule. On the days I am working, before and after work will be dedicated to their care! When the pets are in your home, they will feel comfortable when I am there as well. I will go over with you everything that you want to get done and make sure I meet your expectations with flying colors.

In a client’s home, I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water at all times, get plenty of exercise, bathroom breaks, playtime, and lots of affection. I also keep their living area clean, administer medications if needed and instructed, and make sure they feel safe and relaxed while their family is away. I respect my clients’ homes by keeping everything tidy, locking doors, and following any special instructions.
