About: I’ve lived with dogs my whole life and just recently raised a puppy of my own. He is a very well trained dog, so I have some fresh tips and tricks if needed. I am confident I will take wonderful care of any dog- any size and any age! New to rover but not new to taking care of dogs! I’m currently taking a summer break- I recently finished up a residency and pharmacy degree, so I am looking forward to having some time off this summer. I have a few trips planned, but otherwise I will be home every day to be able to provide the best care for your pups. I have a securely fenced in yard along with a young pup who just turned 1 years old. He is very friendly and would love to have a friend to play with during the day. I also have a cat who mainly just sticks to himself during the day- please no dogs who are not safe around cats.

“Great job. Can tell her love for animals. Responded on short notice. I plan to use her in the near future again.”

Your pup will be in caring, compassionate hands- loved, protected, and treated like family every step of the way. I'm currently taking a sabbatical after leaving my job of 8 years, which means I have plenty of time and flexibility in my schedule to care for your furry best friend. Whether it's a walk, playtime, feeding, or just keeping them company, I’m available and happy to help give them the attention and care they deserve throughout the day. Your pup will be treated like family in a clean, smoke free home nestled on 70 acres. The property includes fenced-in areas for safe play and scenic trails leading to the Chagrin River- perfect for outdoor adventures. Small and medium crates are available if that’s part of your dog’s daily routine. If caring for your pet your pet in your home, you can rest assured I’ll treat your space with the utmost respect-just as I would my own- and always honor your boundries.

About: Lifelong dog lover with years of hands-on experience. I’ve provided in-home sitting, cared for friends’ pets, and have owned dogs my entire life. You can count on me for reliable, loving care—just like they’re my own. Hi! I’m currently on paternity leave from my full-time job, where I typically travel Monday through Thursday. With a bit more time at home right now, I’m looking to make some extra income doing something I truly enjoy—caring for dogs. I’ve owned dogs all my life, have in-home pet sitting experience, and have helped friends care for their pets over the years. Your pup will be in safe, caring hands. I care for pets in their own home, where they feel most comfortable and secure. I always follow the owner’s instructions and routines to ensure consistency and peace of mind. I’ve worked with dogs that require extra attention, including those with medical needs or those who don’t do well around other animals. My goal is to build trust, provide dependable care, and keep your dog safe and happy while you’re away.

About: I currently have a 3 year old mini Australian shepherd. My experience includes watching a puppy overnight, helping train a deaf dog, and taking neighbors dogs on walks. I am a teacher so I am available all of June-August to provide all day care for dogs or just walk dogs during the day. I have a friendly dog to keep your dog company. I also live within walking distance of a bike trail to make sure your dog gets daily walks.

About: Since the age of 10, I have cared for many animals, whether it be my own dog or a neighbors. I have experience with dogs, cats, and rabbits and I am not opposed to caring for another animal! Since entering college, I have been dog-sitting for many families and I am comfortable with staying at houses. I am currently home for the summer and am very flexible throughout the week. I am a college athlete so I have training at varying times of the day. However, I will be able to stop by and check on your pet before and after, not leaving them alone for too long! When caring for pets at a client’s home, I prioritize safety by following any specific instructions provided by the pet owner, including feeding and walking routines as well as medication if needed. I never leave a pet unattended outside unless it is in a fully fenced area.

About: I’ve owned and cared for my own dogs for over 25 years, all of them rescues. I have a deep love for animals and a soft spot for those in need. My pets have always been part of the family, and I’m known for spoiling them with love, attention, and treats (within reason!). I’ve nursed several of my dogs through illnesses, always going the extra mile to make them feel safe and cared for. I bring that same level of compassion and commitment to every pet I look after. I’m recently retired after 31 wonderful years with Chardon Local Schools, and now I have the time and flexibility to focus on something I truly enjoy — caring for animals. I’m home most of the day, which means your pets will get plenty of attention, companionship, and care. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just relaxing company, I’m here to make sure your pets feel loved and comfortable while you’re away. I care for pets in their own home where they feel most comfortable and secure. Whether I’m stopping by for a drop-in visit or taking your dog for a walk, I treat every pet like my own — with patience, love, and attention to their individual needs. I follow your instructions closely, keep routines consistent, and always make sure pets are safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I also provide updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands.

About: I have owned and cared for more than 50 animals in my 36 years 🥰 I currently have a 2 year old cat and a 1 year old cat. Sadly I recently lost my almost 12 year old dog to old age. I grew up with skunks, cats, dogs, hamsters, lizards, and more. I also have been fostering with local rescues for more than 10 years. Overall, I am just a big animal lover and find joy in watching other people's fur babies 🥰 I have a flexible work schedule that will allow me to help during the day on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I work in a dog-friendly office so when I go into the office on Tuesday and Thursday I can bring your pup with me, if you're comfortable with that! Evenings, weekends, and overnights can also be arranged. If you need anything overnight I prefer to stay at your home with your pets so they are comfortable and not displaced. Let's discuss your needs! I am happy to follow whatever instructions you have for me to care for your furbabies! I know each pet is different. Generally, dogs go out to potty several times a day, as well as need fresh food and water daily. Cats also need fresh food and water daily, plus cleaning their litter boxes once a day.

“Erin is the best dog walker we could have asked for! She is patient and kind! Our little Beau Beau is curious about every little thing and she took her time to let him sniff and check things out. Our German Shepherd Charlie is not sure of other dogs so Erin made sure to comfort Charlie when other dogs were present on the walk. She sent some awesome pictures too so that we knew just how much fun our pups had! I will definitely be hiring her again in the future for my dog walking needs!”

About: I've had dogs off and on my entire life but it wasn't until we adopted our baby girl Coco that I really fell in love. We had 13.5 wonderful years with her, then after she passed we decided to foster dogs and have been doing that since Sept. 2020 with various local organizations. We have fostered 24 dogs so far and have sat 21 dogs, including puppies, senior dogs, dogs with behavioral and medical special needs. Everyone knows how much we love dogs and how we treat them all like family. My husband and I are retired so we are very flexible in our schedule and decided we want to do something meaningful and enjoyable in our retirement. We have a large 1.5 acre lot with a pond on property. It is very serene and peaceful here. Our yard is only partially fenced so we keep the dogs on leash when walking outside. We make frequent potty breaks and like to take dogs for walks in the woods behind our house. They dogs usually sleep on a bed on the floor in our bedroom but will be crated if we have to leave the house for their own safety.

About: I have two goldendoodles in my family and love them dearly! I’m looking to fill some time on my summer break with some sweet pups. I have the summer off because I am a teacher. Other than random plans with family and friends, I am mostly very free until mid August. I will explore the west side with your pups and keep them safe. I will make sure they walk closely with me and treat them with care!
