“Emma was great with my boys! They really enjoyed her company, and the snuggles. They were well taken care of and it was very nice to not have to worry about them. Thank you for a great experience!”

“She's an awesome sitter for my 3 dogs, she has been coming here on time and done her duty by letting my dogs in the backyard for 3 days straight definitely will hire her again in the future. Very reliable.”

“Haley is the best pet sitter! She’s very conscientious, communicative and responsible. She truly cares about my kitties and I know they are in good hands with Haley when we’re vacationing !”

“This was our very first experience with Rover.com - and we are very pleased. Working with Natalie has been such a great experience! We love to vacation but hate leaving our two cats behind. We used to board them at a very nice kenneling center, but found the experience to be too stressful for our Himalayans who strongly prefer to stay at home. Natalie met with us before our first booking, and really took the time to get to know our cats' schedules, preferences, etc. We appreciate her swift and thorough communication, the photos she took of our cats and the nicely detailed write-ups of her visits. Finally, we can now travel with peace of mind knowing that Natalie is watching over our furbabies. We've already booked her for our upcoming honeymoon to Mexico, and look forward to booking her again for future vacations. Thank you Natalie!”
“Alli took great care of our dogs for a week while we were out of town. She kept us updated on any changes such as bad weather not allowing for a walk. She also went above and beyond by keeping an eye on our plants. We absolutely recommend her!”

“Lauren was so patient and thoughtful with our dog. She went the extra mile in everything we asked. It was so reassuring to know that we left him in good hands while we were traveling.”

About: I grew up in a dog-family so I've been taking care of dogs since I could walk. I regularly dog (and cat) sit for family and friends from college and church. I'm currently working part-time so my schedule is very flexible excluding Monday & Thursday evenings and Saturday afternoons. Down for morning/midday/evening walks and feeding or overnight stays. I like to do a Meet & Greet with all my clients well before my care-taking in order to properly care for your furry friend. I cannot currently board/crate dogs in my home but am able to offer walking, feeding, and overnights.
About: There’s nothing like the love you receive back in a single look. I’ve had dogs my entire life—being a pet lover is simply part of who I am. To me, they’re not just pets—they’re a special part of our lives. With 13+ years working in a pet care company and over 2 years fostering 21+ dogs, I bring both professional expertise and real-life experience. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, personalities, and needs—both small and large breeds, from 9-week-old puppies to senior dogs. I’ve also regularly cared for dogs of neighbors and friends, building trusted relationships within my community. I understand that leaving your dog with someone else is a big decision. My goal is to give you complete peace of mind, knowing your dog is safe, understood, and genuinely cared for. I’m patient, attentive, and especially comfortable helping dogs adjust, feel at ease, and build confidence. I truly love how every dog is unique—their personality, their energy—and getting to know each one is something I genuinely love. At home, I have two well-trained dogs—Valentino (Golden Retriever) and Romeo (Australian Shepherd)—who help foster dogs learn positive behaviors and feel comfortable. I treat every dog as my own, making sure they feel safe, relaxed, and happy—so you can feel confident and at ease while you’re away. I’m available for walks Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM, and generally on weekend mornings. My schedule allows me to provide consistent attention and reliable care during these hours. I can be flexible for additional times when needed—just feel free to reach out and we can coordinate what works best for you and your dog. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a calm, structured, and loving environment where dogs can feel secure and at ease. I have a fenced yard for safe outdoor time, and two well-trained, friendly dogs—Valentino (Golden Retriever) and Romeo (Australian Shepherd)—who help create a balanced and positive environment, especially for dogs who benefit from socialization. Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Chesterfield
We are so lucky to find Iris, she is very responsive, reliable and caring, and went above and beyond in taking care of our kitties so that we could be worry free while away from home. Our flight was delayed due to poor weather. When we asked her for additional help during the extended time, she graciously accepted it and did it for us. Not only that, she went further and helped us picking up mails, and checked with us for watering house plants and putting out trash can for trash removal. Strongly recommend her.
Ella was wonderful! She genuinely loves animals and ensures to go above and beyond at your home. I’d definitely work with her again and highly recommend her. Thank you Ella again for everything you did for my little angels. Keep on shining as a top Pet Sitter in Missouri and beyond!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
